Exactly 💯! Why the heck is a persons fashion choice an issue for a legal battle? Fashion is a choice to be in the attire, whatever a person decides to wear, which makes the individual comfortable. This being the cause of a person losing their legal case, just because of fashion, should be seen as a personal bias. I know personal biases should not interfere with solid evidence and facts in a case. Attire is only evidence dependent on the case....

Conservative judges and jurors are often of the opinion that long hair on men is unprofessional, so it isn't about having ones long hair in a man bun or not and more about long hair on a man. If a man with long hair would like to appeal to the conservative sensibilities of the court he should probably cut his hair shorter.

    • @NBH-xh3nq
      @NBH-xh3nq 13 днів тому +1

You may think it is stupid, but the jury and judge all have inherent biases. The goal for the defendant in most cases is to create an image that will appeal to the judge and jury; The impression that excessive piercings create on many people is one of irresponsibility and unprofessionalism especially in a courtroom setting. Likewise ill fitting clothes create an unprofessional image, buying(or borrowing) a nice shirt and nice pants/skirt that fit are definitely in the interests of the defendant if they place importance on winning their case. And manbuns are a similar case to piercings, as in they are seen as unprofessional by many potential judges/jurors.
Often a defendant with piercings will remove or tone them down if possible, a defendant lacking a suit will borrow one, and a male defendant with long hair will have it cut. The court is a formal and conservative place where the judges and jurors form opinions based on the defendant's presentation and where those opinions can influence the outcome of the case.

    cookie recipe
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
    1 cup granulated sugar
    1 cup packed brown sugar
    2 large eggs
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    3 cups all-purpose flour
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1/2 teaspoon baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
    Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in the eggs, one at a time, until well combined. Stir in the vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden brown. The centers may still look slightly underbaked, but they will continue to set as they cool.
Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Enjoy your delicious homemade chocolate chip cookies with a glass of milk or your favorite hot beverage!
