Wunderschöne Lieder von unzähligen Künstlern in den 60iger, 70iger und 80iger Jahren. Danke dafür, daß ich eine so schöne Jugendzeit hatte. Heute bin ich 62 Jahre alt und höre immer wieder diese wunderschöne Musik.
Ich erinnere mich noch als wäre es gestern gewesen. Damals war ich 15, kam aus dem Urlaub von Verwandten zurück und meine Mutter spielte mir dieses Lied vor.

It was a time when I was abandoned by my mother (too), and lived in a boarding school on the border of South Africa and Zimbabwe.. I was 'lost' but made it all on my own!

Wow.. what a beautiful story portrayed by an amazing group. I have loved this song since 1979, when I was 12 years old, and still get goosebumps when I listen to it.. It was a time when I was abandoned by my mother (too), and lived in a boarding school on the border of South Africa and Zimbabwe.. I was 'lost' but made it all on my own!
It brings tears to my eyes. Perhaps the charisma of this great band overwhelms me, but the life gone by is also a huge reason. Never will those golden days come back. RIP Bobby Farell and long live Liz Mitchell and others. Thank you for the mesmerizing music you gave us. Love from Pakistan.

Living in Columbus, Ohio back in the late 79s and early 80s, I never heard of Bony M until one day I watched some swing dancing on heard Rivers of Babylon, I liked the music so much, I looked up the group who was singing. I have absolutely fallen in love with Bony M.
