Brand new to electric guitar, and I picked one up recently with the right equipment and am planning on teaching myself. This is one of the songs that I REALLY want to learn
Nice! It's not the easiest song to start with but it's an excellent choice ! Keep the motivation up, practice slowly and regularly and you'll get there !
That's the thing people don't get with learning simpler tunes. It really allows you to focus on the details that make a song sound exactly the way it does you didn't just play the guitar parts, you played the song on guitar
absolutely yes! I learned mostly by myself, I just had a one hour per week lesson for 3 or 5 months when I was starting. Then I continued all by myself. And nowadays with free online course I think you can learn pretty much anything. So go for it !
@@pacificbyte1059 this is just practice, you don't need theory to play (it's better to know the theory of course, especially if you start writing your own music)
This gives me tool vibes for real
Same here!
Tool vibes all the way
Yeah it’s so weird that a refused song can sound like this!
Especially the intro is almost 100% Tool.
Reminds me "pneuma" intro
Bro that's exactly what I thought!
One of the best covers out there for this song. It's always the one I'm coming back to, excellent video!
ah thanks dude :) I love that song too

heaven for the ears. Can you tell me the name of your guitar?
thanks dude ! This is an ESP guitar, a JH-3 model to be precise, they are the 90's signature model of James Hetfield from Metallica.
what kind of guitar is this?
It's a JH-3 model from ESP. It's a signature model from James Hetfield (Metallica) only 100 built in the late 90's.

What are you running the guitar through? Sounds just like the original track!
Thanks dude ! For the guitar sounds I'm using an amp plugin (Fortin Cali by Neural DSP)
