Did this today but forgot to do my left side cause I didn’t want to face the row of people doing spin 😂 The placement of this machine at my gym is so strange.

Very well explained and I concur with everything you said. I have one in my garage and do exactly this. I am tempted to use weights but resist on the basis that it is not a muscle building exercise. I also think that to perform it right, it’s actually useful not to have any additional weight at all. That way you minimise thickening your trunk, which is not the idea behind this at all really.

When I was in high school this was my favourite exercise but on a flat one not one at a 45 and would love the stretch and would let body completely go to the floor. Trainers would say bad for back, shame I listened to them cause felt amazing.watxhing knees over toes guy he's all about training to full range of motion.whixh would encourage this when majority experts say don't. U watch sports footage athletes always exerting extreme force in non recommended positions so what do u do

It really depends on the person. For some people, it can kind of slim it down a little bit if someone has a layer of fat on top of their muscle. Could it make someone potentially look a little bit wider? It's possible, if they are also not working on leaning out the fat on top of the muscle that is being worked in that exercise.

It pains both my sides a lot. Is it normal. Both side of stomach and waist pains a lot all the time after doing this exercise

I'm sorry to hear that has been causing you pain. No pain should be normalized. You either want to consult with your current practitioner or you are more than welcome to book and initial consultation. If you’d like to take a deeper dive into your health concerns, we’d start with the Healing Accelerator Bundle that can be found at bit.ly/HA-Bundle 💜

Will make your waist look thicker.

No, it only tones up the muscle underneath the skin. If the concern is a smaller waist, then one should be on a calorie deficit

Yes it can make the waist look thicker. The key is to not use weights when doing this exercise. You don't want to make this muscle bigger.
