Thank you for sharing this about my town and seeing the positive side of this place . It is going through some major developments that will greatly improve the infrastructure that is greatly needed and you are completely right about people here being friendly I know this in my 11 years of living here. May I suggest when you next visit that you take a walk past the walled garden and castle to the park though I steel gate around the path that follows the river up to the deer house it's a fantastic park I visit often and also not forgetting the Kynren shows we have here every year that I myself did in 2019, it's about the history of Britain run by volunteers. On your walk though the park you can actually see the Kynren site. Once again thank you.
Tremendous vlog and great to see you in Bishop Auckland, the word you werent sure of was Silapa and its the name of my Muay Thai gym Silapa or Sinlapa means art so I teach the art of Muay Thai:)🙏
I grew up in a small town in the southwest , the town centre was always busy , no empty shops, loads of pubs, always full. Now a complete dump. You can't look back only forward, change happens the past will never come back. Too many people in UK and US think it will, it won't just enjoy the life you have. I now live in Vietnam , despite the terrible recent past people only look forward the past is gone.
thanks for showing us around, so much history to see in the UK. But amazing to see how local councils and central governments with their heavy taxation and regulation have killed off city centres across the UK. such a sad state of affairs. defo young people should get out while they can.
Not really anything to do with taxation and more to with changing demographics. The younger generations don’t go out to pubs as much these days and their vice is screen time and social media.
The contrast between Thailand and U.K. street walking is like heaven and hell. Yes the sunny English countryside like on your barge trip it’s great but the urban environments of U.K. have long since lost their way .
Hey, I've been watching your chanel for a while now. I'm Bishop Auckland born and bred, still living here. Happy to meet up for a pint and chat if you fancy a meet?? (maybe you've already moved on though)
