I like this idea but I think it’s great idea to have BOTH … whatever their phone is dead or not accessible… DOT is clearly the NEW WAVE but I feel like having both screams “ready for anything”
You're right! I have both for sure. I just don't have stacks and stacks of business cards anymore thank goodness, but excellent point!! 🙂

I disgree, everyone has a smart phone, even my 69 year old mother in-law. So the fact that you should have both depends on whether or not you* are ready for the new technology. I respect your opinion, but the company I work for doesn't offer cards and I sell high end! So I ordered a dot card 😊
This is cool but sometimes you have to leave business cards with establishments other types of venues .

Hi! I just went to my dashboard to see all I can add and there's an option to add links so if videos are attached via links, should work!
If they are attached to social platforms, you can add those too!

Thanks for sharing about the DOT Card. I regularly carry three business cards - one for my job, one for my business and one for my church (I am my pastor’s executive assistant and our church secretary). Should I get three dot cards? I think that maybe I should, because the three things don’t really overlap. Also, I was thinking about printing paper 'pay it forward' cards, encouraging people to show kindness to others in memory of my son who passed away at the age of 28 and always did kind thigs for others. Do you think I could use a dot for that instead?
Hi! I think 3 would be difficult to keep up with personally. And I know how busy your job must be as an executive assistant to a Pastor. I was one also and I remember it was soooo busy lol.
The Dot card is all about an exchange of information. Contact information mainly but has the ability like for instance to put different sites, social accounts, etc. I just have one card and I have my personal and my real estate channel on it.
I think the one platform with all of your info in one place would be easier to maintain unless you wanted to keep your business separate but that's a personal call.
And I'm so sorry for the loss of your son. I can't imagine 💔

What has to be enabled on the recipient's phone for this to work--wifi, bluetooth, anything at all?
Great question! In order to tap the card to the other party's phone, they have to have NFC enabled allowing that function but if that doesn't work on the first try or we're in a rush, I honestly just have them scan the QR code then it gives the option for them to import the information into their contacts.
How do people save your card for later access
Hey love but I do have a quick question I just ordered the $20 thin.card to go in the back of my phone case is there any way that the QR code is stored on it as well or I have to get the dot card to have it just in case?
Hey! I never used the thin card. I just have the Dot card with the QR code on it and I have it in an easily accessible place to pull out when needed.
I just used it the other day and tapped the phone to the receiving party and my info popped up for them to import.
Question, everyone else's phone has to have a dot accou8nt or no?

WHY WHY WHY DOES NO ONE EXPLAIN JUST WHAT IS SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN SOMEONE'S DOT CARD INFO SHOWS ON SOMEONE ELSE'S SMARTPHONE??????? WH8ERE ON THE RECIPIENT'S PHONE WILL INFO FROM A DOT CARD BE STORED AND FOUND?????????????????????????
There is a button that pops up along with the contact info, once they scan the QR code or when I tap the card to their phone. It will read "import contact."
That contact is then stored in the recipients contacts on their phone. Hope that helps. Great feedback! 👍
This, I have been looking for a demo and what happens on the receiving phone -iphone or android... no one shows this in any vidoe!!!!
