- I'm back!! Feels so good to be back on the video grind. I appreciate everyones patience in the last couple weeks with my sick family dog, but she is on the mend! Today, I got a DOT Card for networking. This thing is amazing!

Hello, I have used mine for about 6 months, it was awesome. I have it on everything, buy website, my business cards, my texts. It's been the best way to connect.. I even put my newsletter on it. Last week it went blank. I've reached out to the company 3 different times, and nobody gets back to me. I want to get it to work, I have everything hooked up to dot. Now I'm wondering what else is out there.

🤣 . I've been doing entrepreneurial things for the longest time, and this card seems credible (still going to use Vista Print, though: and this eventually).
I also recommend trying a beacon. I've gotten tons of leads that way. But nowadays, I don't know a credible beacon company because the one I used was based in Canada (they had shut down).

@@Mikeypolis Anytime man. Yea, beacons are super effective. You can set it up to display messages on nearby phones (if they have Bluetooth on, etc). At the time of me using one, iltheynonly worked for androids. But I think they now can beam messages to ios.

That is a great question. I just used mine last weekend and it was still working. I have yet to have mine quit, but if it does, I'll definitely update everyone! Thanks for checking the video out

You didn’t mention it, have you figured out how to get your socials to load into someone’s contacts?
As far as I can tell the only thing that loads into the contact when you save it to your phone is the phone number email address and website. But it’s clear at least on the iPhone that there are spaces for social links to be filled in a contact.
I'm not sure on saving social links saved to a contact specifically, but by clicking on the different socials and subscribing or following seems to be the main purpose.
Yeah that original page looks great and he’s got all the social links but once the person you’re sharing it with goes away from that page they can probably never get back to it unless they try real hard.
@@steves563 I think the whole point is it doesn't fully go away, versus you now following them on whichever channel you clicked on so you can be in the specific app and find them. The big one for me is the Subscribing on my UA-cam link. A person can click that link and quickly hit subscribe so that they now get updates when I drop a new video.
I paid $20 for mine and it came in the mail . They been talking all this free shit but asked me when I was activating it for my credit card number. $20 spent already. Where's the free?
Weird! I never had to put in a card or anything when I got it. Just the $20 I paid and then I set up my account. I wonder if something changed on their end??

does anyone know how to update your dot profile? I have new links and it seems once you set it up it stays that way.
You just Login to your Dot Profile on a web browser and you can adjust it from there dot.cards/login

You have to purchase the card but otherwise it is free to set up the account and maintain it. No monthly fee or anything like that

Yeah it's a mode of transferring data through an android phone. I'm unsure about Apple as I have an android

Stay away from the do t business card or classic Dot. They don't work at least the NFC part doesn't work and customer service is non-existent they do not contact you back save your money
That's a bummer yours isn't working! I have had good luck so far with mine. Did you have NFC enabled on your phone?
@@Mikeypolis Yes I do and everyone else I tried my dot with. In fact, one person didn't have it on. We turned it on and it still didn't work. The company has been ZERO help.
