Wow. So many questions. How fast were you really throwing? How dry was the base when you turned it upside-down? Was the opening already there or did you cut it?
I could go on.
This was really cool thank you

I threw as my usual speed, slow, but I dried the top portion with a torch so that I can turn it upside down to continue throw the bottom portion. If you plan doing this method, just leave the bottom open.
