Appreciate your honesty. Sounds like you are making a good decision for you and your family and I respect that.
What were you expecting for fuel mileage with 12.5”x35” tires?
I'd be damned if I let audience dictate how I live. Unless it's your bread & butter. Do what is in your budget, lifestyle, & future. Nothing is etched in stone. Good luck! Logic things out. 🖖✊👍
He's a content creator. If it doesn't help create content then it has to go. It's dead weight.
I can't believe you have bad gas mileage. My hybrid is 18-19 in winter with warmup and 4-wheel drive. Can't wait for summer for it to go back up. All time high was 24mpg.
You get bad gas mileage because of your 35s on your truck. Your truck looks great. Tundras FOREVER. Best truck in the world 🌎.
I watched your channel heavily when I was waiting for my Tundra. It was a great way to get to know my vehicle before it came. Thanks for all the content. Good luck on your next choice. I believe you need a filler vehicle before next Tacoma or 4Runner. That would be my recommendation.
We are here for whatever you get next! Love the channel!
Don't worry Bruh , Mine is coming next month .
Sad to see the Tundra go!! Thank you for letting us be part of the build. Good luck on the next vehicle.
Thanks for being a part of it! I'm sad to see it go but hopefully will have another Toyota truck in the near future and hopefully more projects with ReveMoto!
@@DrivenCompanion always here if you need anything. No matter what truck or car.
Also if you going back to a 2nd gen tundra, just get a well maintained one. 2007-2008. Cheap and basically the same. Fuel mileage will be around 9-12 despite what other's say. 15-16 on highway yes, but city driving around 10 is realistic number. So think about it.
Would love to see content with the new Subaru WRX
Trust me you will love the new 2022 WRX
Woah! Didn’t expect that… but everything you said makes sense. My vote is the 2nd Gen Tundra.
You and your videos gave me a lot of great ideas for my 2023 Platinum HV 4x2!
Glad I could help! I'm missing mine already
Full build on a sequoia would be cool
I've enjoyed your content on this Tundra!
You should go for a 2008 Mitsubishi Endeavor AWD mid-size SUV with the 3.8 L V6 engine and the four-speed automatic transmission or a 2017 Honda Odyssey Touring eight-passenger minivan with the 3.5 L V6 engine and the six-speed automatic transmission. These higher-seating position vehicles should be great for you and your family, because they are both reliable and get decent fuel economy than any pick-up truck. If you need a sedan, you can just buy a 2009 Saturn Aura XE or XR with the 2.4 L four-cylinder engine and the six-speed automatic transmission or a 2013 Mazda 6 with the 2.5 L four-cylinder engine and the five-speed automatic transmission. The sedan should be more fun to operate (drive) than an SUV or a minivan. It should be interesting. Thank you very much and have a great final day of February. March will begin tomorrow with spring break coming up soon.
No shame on that, its fantastic you are at this moment taking the necessary measurements to face the uncertain (not very good looking) economic future, one chapter close and another one open.......good luck and much blessings
I agree the gas mileage is no where near what toyota advertised
Great videos
2nd gen tundra 100% What about a first gen Tundra?
I think the New Gen Tacoma would be a good option. Should be available later this year though!
Any truck,, WRX, GR, Elantra N, type R. It doesn't matter. I'll still be watching.
good luck!! I haven't seen your wife since the green toyota 4runner review video lol good old days
I think you should get maybe a 4th gen 4runner V8 or a older land cruiser that's stock and we'll maintained low mileage. Would be a lot cheaper and then you can build it out on the channel. Something affordable that the general population can relate to. And give you time to find what nice new generation vehicle you want to buy when the market comes down. Then sell the old one or keep it as a off road rig.
2nd gen Tacoma would be cool
I’m contemplating a 1st Gen Sequoia for my next ride. It would be cool to see what you would do with one of those as a family off road rig.
New Landcruiser or Gx550?
I'm scratching my head on your mpg. I live in Houston and own a 23' 4X2 Limited hybrid Tundra my mpg in the city is between 19-23 in Normal mode luckily I don't have any issues that everyone complained about I plan on keeping this truck for a long time. Good luck with your finances family always come first.
I tried so hard to hypermile and get the numbers up and they just wouldn't get anywhere close... Most people tell me the same but there are a few like you that are experiencing good mpgs. The EPA must have got one of those few when they did their testing too :)
Model 3 rwd take advantage of the tax credits. Would like to see what you’d do with it.
I’m in for the 2nd gen Tundra
Check out Subaru, I was gonna get a tundra but got a forester wilderness. Plenty of room for my 2 kids and wife and 25-30 MPG.
Just get yourself a 2.7 eco boost F150 ! It’s as powerful as anything Toyota has and gets really good mileage for a full size pickup. This guy is just making videos.
Where did you listed your tundra and Ford lightning what website?
Idk…. I think I see a 4th Gen Tacoma in the works!??
My Tacoma has been just sitting and parked under cover for the past couple years. Probably considered super lows miles although it has always been that way. We will have to get together and do an update video on the van along with Karis Chevy express. She had a IFS 4wd conversion done on hers.
Yeah its been a while! Glad you're putting the Van to some fun use! Poor Tacoma...
get the WRX and get some sort of fun project. prob could do both and stash a bunch of money!
Get a Tundra SR and build it up. Makes no sense to get a Tundra TRD Pro. Not much you can mod on it
The new 2024 Tacoma will be good for content.
So I am new to the page, but the title sold me on watching. You made great explanation for why you are selling your Tundra. Respect for that but options for a loner. Why not a Rava 4 XSE Hybrid (non plug in) or the New Honda CRV Sport Touring. If you go with a smaller truck, why not a Honda Ridgeline. Just throwing ideas at you.
It would be cool if you got a 2024 tacoma
Would love to know how much you sold it for
$62K
I don’t know why you saying that I have 1794 4x4 long bed and I can get 16 and the city I am by 19 and the highway. Good luck with your new project.
I feel they you would be a perfect fit for an 2023 f150 tremor.
Super fancy and tech heavy interior and off-road worthy
They are pretty sweet. I saw a new one the other day in a real cool off-white - almost gray color that was beautiful
2 inch lift with 35 inch mud tires and complains about gas mileage. Okay then
Good call on selling that tundra, it was missing 2 cylinders.
Are you guys selling your new trucks back to the dealer?? Are they already paid for or are your guys still paying it off and selling it that way?? Just curious because I want to sell my 2020 Tacoma but I still owe 25k
I sold mine private party
Lexus GX460
WHAT IS YOUR FUEL MILEAGE
14/18 city/hwy
Base on your honesty and in terms of the gas milage did you still recomend Tundra VS any diesel pick up truck in the market????
Screw the channel kid. Man gotta know his limitations.... stay healthy safe travels 🥾
Grab another WRX for a year as u wait for the new 2024 Tacoma coming at the end of the year
2022/23 Honda Civic Si, relatively affordable, fun to drive, good fuel economy, and a practical family car!
Might as well go Type R at that point... the new ones are pretty sweet looking!
Get a 2013 Tundra or 6th gen 4runner 🙂🙂
If you are considering a WRX you might as well go GR Corolla.
hmmm... the WRX looks so much better though. I've heard the GR Corolla is more fun to drive
@DrivenCompanion WRX has been around for awhile. Experience the new GR Corolla for all of us.
WRX is amazing
What is the MPG on it?
With the 35s I was getting about 13 mpg average
Get a Land Cruiser! 100 Series
Love the honesty. Cant wait to see what comes next. Regardless, I'll watch. I'm about to get a 4Runner TRD, but will watch regardless of what you buy. Yes, I think reviews of loaner cars /subscriber cars would be better.
Wide body kit subaru... make it a cat killer!..
First of all who buys a full size pick up for MPGs? In that case buy a prius or a corolla
Can't I have it all?
@@DrivenCompanion you sure can,but lets be real toyota tundras have always been terrible with MPGs. I dont mind the mpgs i buy them for their reliability
@@DrivenCompanion I have the 2022 SR 4 by 4 and getting 14 city, 19 highway, 17 combined
Do you think the SR mileage is bad due to lack of grille shutters and no air dam?
Suckered into this one. Just title it here’s all about me ….
I’m selling my Tundra so I can buy another Tundra
I recently got rid of my 2022 Tundra TRD Pro for a 2023 F150 Raptor...could not be happier with that decision. The tundra wasn't everything I had hoped it would be. You do what you feel is right. I'm sure you will continue to make great content. Happy trails!
2024 Tacoma
Subaru!
Why don't you get a Tacoma?
I'm considering it but also wondering if at this point I should wait for the new model. Should be out this year
1st Gen 4Runner jk jk unless ...
NO it’s NOT a great truck that’s why you are selling it. That’s is what most people do
to make a tundra audience, you need to make lots of mods. not just simple muds. Also you needed a better color option. Like the new colorful ones.
Good decision, Mike. While Tundra is a great truck it’s styling is far from exciting imo.
Enjoy the Toyota content. Believe the economy is on the verge of tanking big time. Save your money and show us some cool old “affordable” builds. Toyota should just give you some loaner vehicles on the new stuff coming out. While they’re at it they need to figure out how they’re going to weather the pending economic storm and make some affordable vehicles instead of these new overpriced overteched underwhelming turbo charged 4x4s.
What do you think the economy has been doing since the summer of 2021? Where have you been?
