Goodness, look at it. There's two places you can choose the key range. For some reason C-1 to G9 wasn't enough.... I changed the bottom part that says key to C2 to C2 where my MIDI notes are and it's working now. There's 2 parts that look the same, but the bottom one is the one that worked for me.
I have to move my midi notes down to D#1 for my samples to play with this method. I have the root key at C2, where the samples show up in the piano roll, but they don't play unless I move the notes to D#1. I have my key same as yours. C2-G8. Not seeing why this is happening. Hmm, now they play for a few hits and then it stops working. Must be a glitch with this sampler...
Very nice. I want so much to relate the edition of articulations to the groups. Do you know how can i set different samples for different articulations in the same instrument? Basically i want to add articulations and samples to previous strings instruments
Low velocity should be 0-79, and high from 80-127 to avoid a double-trigger on a note that measures exactly 80, because both the low and high velocity sample sets share that value. Unless the new sampler has accounted for bad math. Which wouldn't surprise me, seems pretty user friendly. Great info though, very helpful in moving over from EXS24
Rock is mostly recordings of analogue instruments so it is where you will need to do more work to polish and take the impurities out of the recording while maintaining the human aspect of the performance. As in this example, replacing human drums with samples while maintaining the performance of the drummer.
Engineers to real drummers: "BE CONSISTENT" Engineers to machine drummer "YOU'RE TOO CONSISTENT". I'm teasing, thanks for this, I bought a multi velocity drum kit for the first time and didn't know what to do with it other than buying superior drummer.
Incredibly helpful. Please accept this little donation as my form of gratitude!
thank you to whoever is putting in the work to help others learn new modalities to express their inner artist

This tutorial is so useful! I often come back to it when I need to load samples cause I can never remember

Thank you
Nice!
but why most tutorials are shows on ''rock'' type of anything? it's easier or what.
Same for everything
