I am so happy they actually made it a crew number thing as it would be annoying as a solo slooper to fight a 4 man thing but you can turn it off for an even more challenging time. BEST SEASON YET
As a primarily solo slooper I was very worried as well but this made me so happy and the rewards look awsome
did they actually say it will put solo sloopers vs other solo sloopers or is it just sloop vs sloop regardless of 1 or 2 ppl? because yea catpaincy has ruined group play for me so i have been stuck as a solo slooper now

What we've seen of golden sands already looks beautiful
I really like adventures but it would be nice to have some tall tale missions again so so much of the story isn't missed out on with everything being timed events.
No dude, adventures are necessary in this moment where we need story progressign and the decisions points, it is a war after all. Plus: adventures are not a replacement for tall tales,they are a replacement of the stupid events that happened in season 1-5,so we migth get both on the future

I feel, this time the cards were purposefully stacked for Flameheart. If you have the turn-in point for the dolls on reapers hideout, the place where you can turn in EVERYTHING else, with a emmissary flag, who would make the extra trip to give the dolls to Bell?
Alliance servers alone would have won this for Flameheart.
If they put that guy on Wanderers Refuge, and make him accept Dolls only, this could have been a fair fight.

My only concern is that a pirate legend can access their hideout from any outpost. But to get to the reapers lair you need to head to the hideout.
Then again you need to be pirate legend to enter

Not been playing for many seasons now and based on what I saw in this preview, I have one question. How do alliances effect the allegiance activities? Could you create a server alliance and then simply just wait for these battles to either be won or lost and then depending on the outcome either attack the winner who just beat your alliance members or enjoy their possible rewards won in their battle?

@@jjopification There is moments of phantom memory chasing but thats just to find the NPC in question to fight them.
Also I do hope they give a way for him to return, because when Merrick died they never replaced his spot with another representative of the Hunter's Call so there is One Seaport where you can't cash in your Hunter's Call.
Tall tales are specific times in canon that can be repeated for gameplay purposes.
I believe that the first crew to complete any given tale were the canonical protagonists of it.

It was obvious already about FH's return, not even surprised at all; it was legit useless to make an "you decide" event when Rare probably already knew the result
I have the strange feeling that you, and many others who think this was rigged, would have said the exact same thing if Pendragon had won instead. Which is ironic because most people who thought this was rigged were arguing between which side was being rigged lmfao.

It was more mhh..interesting when it was for Golden Sand but not for FH's return/Pendragon
@@zanetruesdalethewolf This adventure was far better than Lost Sands. Lost Sands was hella stacked against Reapers, which was arguably more fun to do than running cargo for Merrick.
At least with this adventure, there was an incentive for people to fight for control over the Sea Forts, and that it was a slightly more even playing field. Though it is pretty dumb that they moved Flameheart Jr. into a more accessible location outside of the tent where you could sell whatever loot you might have grabbed from the Sea Forts.
Lore wise, it's exciting to see Flameheart come back because he *is* the main villain of the game in regards to the lore.

can we get flameheart's painting? I would enjoy being able to hang him on my ship. Also though its probably a no, can you replay the cinematics for gainign the ghost curse, so like if you get the skeleton ritual, and you become a skeleton, can you do the ritual again? also while I am incredibly excited for the skeleton curse, I wish it was a bit easier to get, like reaper 25 or 30 rather than 75.

@@huntertillinghast8173 however if you fight a ghost during this, you have no clue how sweaty they are because they could have just done pve to get pl like I did, whereas the reapers, the easiest way to level it up is through pvp, and you will likely fight more people meaning any skeleton crews are likely a lot more experienced than ghosts, I’m just thinking maybe it should be closer to 50 as to make a bit more diversity to the combat.

No, you don't have to choose a side. You can choose to partake by pledging your allegiance and going about your normal adventures or you could ignore it and not have to worry about being invaded.
