@@nets100 i would disagree. Demon Hunter, Sleeping Giant, Impending Doom, P.O.D, War Of Ages, Becoming the Archetype, Wolves at the gate, for today, fit for a king. And most of those are just the more popular ones 😂.
All those bands are christian and aren’t afraid to express their faith.
I’m pretty sure Underoath is Christian, everyone knows August Burns Red, As I Lay Dying (at one point before Tim tried to kill his wife), Impending Doom, For Today (disbanded but still under the category and Mattie Montgomery is a pastor I believe), Norma Jean to name the mainstream ones. I think even Wage War is Christian as well.
Then some not so popular ones; Dehumanize, With Blood Comes Cleansing, Cultist, Ignite the Gods, Underneath the Gun.
Hope this helps someone. I’ve been building a playlist of bands over the years and more come to light (no pun intended) as time goes on.

I love how you’re reusing band members and looking inside for further strength, improvement, and advancement! I love how the song still contains that same old “Convictions” voice as we hear all throughout your current discography, previously specifically through the backing vocals, since Danyal has left! Quinton taking over as the primary clean vocalist now provides that bit of nostalgia and “old-rootedness” (if that’s a word)! I love it!
Quinton’s vocals are so clean, where Mike’s, as always, have such a wide range and are so heavy and instrumental is once again seriously crushing! There’s elements of deathcore in there (specifically the last half - quarter, primarily in specific instrumental sequences, namely drums and guitars, and Mike’s low and high screams - something I’ve never heard him get to that level of before!).
This is just a straightforward example of how to write a perfect modern metalcore song! (Although, to be honest, the hook towards the end [2:48] caught me off guard, where I was predicting (as I’m so used to hearing this in modern metalcore) the breakdown to just go back into another chorus and the final chorus of which and then the outro of the song, but instead, Convictions CHANGED the structure up (😱!!!) and delivered a variation of the chorus as the final, transitioning into the outro crossed with a final breakdown!😍
Other bands out there, use this as a template!

Holy shit! Im so proud of Convictions. They have gone through a lot of hardships as a band with losing original band members. What theu have gone through most bands would probably call it quits. But they are back and brought us a fucking masterpiece! Im so glad that i like the new cleans and i love this sound. And Mike gets better and better! This band is going places! Thank God for Convictions! And Convictions keep going strong for Christ! I can Not wait for a new album!

As always, y'alls music touches and speaks to me in a very powerful way. I struggle to find words for how much I needed to hear this song, what with battling an addiction and feeling too far gone when I give in. I find that many Convictions songs are akin to the Psalms; each have a plea, a declaration, a desire to change or just make it through. This is one that is close to what I cry out to God in those moments. So once again, thank you for this gift, an absolute banger 💕🔥

Dang, I think this beats Teeth as my favourite Convictions song...the way it just keeps driving forwards throughout the whole thing and hardly slows down, and that bass combined with the drums whenever the "Sleeping Lotus" line comes in sounds amazing

ABR is my #1 because of their sounds and the technical rifs. But then we have convictions, just slicing through to the core with every song!
