Japan rock/metal is so full of imagination and give total passion on it. So much underrated by the rest of the world. I love all genre and amazed by something like this.

@misa smith Well, yeah there are bands like the oral cigarettes that sound like the Japanese billie talent, but there are also bands like necry talkie and polkadot stingray which dont sound like anything you would ever hear in the west. Necry talkie is way too cutesy to go mainstream in the west, and polkadot stingray has an excessive amount of complexity in their lead guitar, something ive come to recognize as a Japanese trait to rock. If you looked into it, j-rock is its on genre of music, so theres literally no way you can say you havent heard a Japanese style in music.

Yui is a beautiful woman and I could listen to her sing all day long; especially the way she sings Astral Dogma. The riffs and that drumming are killer as well. This song is in my daily rotation of music.

Admittedly, the first time I heard Yousei Teikoku was that opening of Mirrai Nikki, and it inspired me to look up more of her stuff. I've found that I just love the vibe her songs have.
Same here. Though Kuusou Mesorogiwi is a hard song to top personally, it's one of my favourites.

Have you ever heard a song so perfect with such perfevt visuals that all you can do is headbang, scream and hold your head from spinning out of orbit??? My jaw is on the FLOOR. It’s a CRIME that I had to live for 22 whole years before finding this. My future children will learn about the existence of Yousei Teikoku before they learn how to breathe.
I know Japanese Gothic Metal/Rock is different from European, but I think this band is worth to be on the same place with Epica, Within Temptation, Nightwish, and other European Metal/Rock bands

It's always such an awesome thing when you discover a band this good.
The harpsichord and bell in the middle break is a thoroughly unique sound and touch. They really do have their sound.

I just keep liking this band more and more every time I listen to them. There's so much depth in their work. The visuals, the lyrics, the melody. There is so much detail and different themes here that at the first week Yousei Teikoku didn't look like my favourite style. But now I want to dive in the gothic world, and never go back.
