- Hot Wheels 1969 models all in Green. A collector asked me to help him complete a set of 1969 Hot Wheels all in the color green. Usually he starts with the models I have listed and then asks me to “look around” the warehouse to see if there are models I can add to his list. Here is the results of that request.

I bought my first HotWheels in 1969, at Kmart, for 44¢. It was blue Custom Camaro w black roof. I also bought a green 36 Ford coupe, like yours, I think it was my 4th or 5th HW. The 36 became my favorite for years as it was the fastest in my collection! Sadly, most of my collection was lost, in a move, back in 1973. Nice memories, tho.

If I had the $$$, I wish I had a Custom Charger in Spectraflame Orange. The best I could ask for is you to post a video of one.

On another note: Thank you for showing us the Splitting Image. I ended up taking home a broken Splitting Image owned by my youngest uncle. It was Spectraflame Magenta (kind of a "Black Cherry Kool-Aid" color), and missing all 4 wheels, the engine, and exhaust. Eventually, I'd like to replace it. (It could be in played with condition, so long as it rolled, or could still race on a track.)
