I forgot about big toe pressure. That’s a phenomenal cue for keeping the knees forward

Your pillars saved my deadlift. The tiny cues, like "trying to protect your armpits" to activate the lats, really helped me be more mindful of my techinique and I immediately felt much more stability through my spine. Here in Brazil we don't really train these big lifts in most gyms, so I have to learn from the web and your tutorials are by far the best and most detailed! Thank you both so much!

Love all these cues. Just getting back into a squat focus. I needed all of these.

These were all really helpful tips. I also like the mobility advice and the reverse snow angels. I watched a video many years ago of a physical trainer who had trained and worked with Sylvester Stallone. He had a piece of equipment in his gym called a Squat Mill. And said that due to injuries and surgeries Stallone couldn't hold a barbell over his shoulders to do squats. I hadn't heard of that before. But was glad there were options out there for those in similar situations. I'm recovering from knee replacement surgery. And I'm looking forward to doing squats and working out again. I was able to get my first squat after watching a video of Ed Coan explaining how to squat. I was previously placing stacked up yoga blocks underneath me and trying to squat with bodyweight only and my feet pointed directly straight in front of me. I'd miss those yoga blocks time after time. But while watching the video that Ed Coan did I noticed that his feet weren't pointed straight either. And it just clicked for me. I was able to do a squat for the first time in years.

These are ACTUAL new tips and cues, not the common sense influencer BS that the algorithm just loves to promote

I like how Marisa always squatting in Jordan’s haha check out Isaiah Rivera with THP. One of the highest jumpers in the world power cleaning and squatting in Jordans. Chad, some Jordan 5s seem like they’d suit you 😂

@@Jake-xd3ir i have like 10 pairs of Jordans but since mine are expensive I don’t lift in them. Marisa has child sized feet so her shoes are cheap

@ LOL child size feet. Didn’t know you were a Jordan guy! What’s your favorite pair you have? Gotta make one squat video in them to show them off

Literally, size 2.5. 11 Space Jams probably. My favorite and becoming my most prevalent shoes though are premium Dunks, so much more comfortable than Jordans for me.

I have been following you guys for many years but still can't decipher whether Marissa is tiny or Chad is built like a house. Probably a bit of both
