Anyone know if getting a muffler delete with throw a check engine light or drivetrain malfunction on a 2013 328i due to the sensors connected to the stock tail pipes? I want to get a muffler delete but the guy at the shop i went to said it’ll throw a check engine light but i see many people saying it won’t throw anything, just want to make sure
im sorry did you change the whole car bc the bumpers, mirror caps, rims, wing, and color all change when u said after market not trying to be rude just asking
If you want to get it painted nicely by a good shop, it could cost you around $400 - If anyone tells you that's too high, they either know people who can cut them a deal or it's a so-so quality job. This is why most people opt to leave it unpainted black/grey
Iv done this to my 328i and after I got the duo tips and muffler delete my car lags power when I try to accelerate then throws a drivetrain Sensor , but once I cut the car off and start it back up it’s drives smooth again … do anyone know the problem here ? The valves maybe ?
Reliable? No. Expensive? Yes. I own a 2013 328i. As long as you mantain and treat it well, you'll be fine but you always gotta have some spare cash for repairs because BMWs aren't exactly known for their reliability.
@@autotrimmers6353 I really can't tell because I'm in Poland and prices really differ. It's a 2013 328i, the only major repairs was AC compressor in 2017 and oil feed line in 2018, that's it
I have a 2014 328i xdrive with 92k miles. Bought it with like 80k and so far no problems personally. The car has been maintained thoroughly throughout its entire life so that may be why I haven’t really had any problems.
@@justinwallace3848 would you need to change the bumper i could just be triple but there's no way a duel exhaust is going to fit on a stock 328i back bumper
You usually get it done at like a muffler shop and they cut and weld a custom one.. just cut at the near entry of the big muffler box and weld on some tips lol
I went to a local exhaust shop that does custom piping. I am not sure what the pipe size is but I am sure it is the same size as the mid pipe. The tip size is 5"
That's not the same car! One is regular silver the other is M-Sport white. Also the white one sounds like it's had its intake modified and possibly running catless.
yes different cars but has same engine. video was filmed after muffler delete was already installed. silver was my friend car and I needed a stock car for video. Yea white had an injen intake installed but no other mods.
2:18 the shift burbles are so nice
Stock sounded soooo bad. The aftermarket one made it sound like a real bwm, absolutely stunning!

Hey man, car sounds great, what size piping did you use and did you also delete the resonator?
piping was 3.5 inches and no just muffler delete with injen intakes

How bad is the drone? Sounds good!
to me the drone isn't that bad, i also have a injen intake
What exhaust is this.?
It is just a muffler delete converted to dual exhaust
What size piping did you use if i may ask ?
I am not sure what the pipe size is but I am sure it is the same size as the mid pipe.
sounds amazing
Am I tripping, or is this 2 different cars?
it’s 2 different cars, I borrowed my friends car. I filmed this weeks after I got it muffler deleted.
How much work/cost goes into getting the split dual exhaust, when the 328i is originally one sided dual?
Around 400 total but depends on your shop. You would need to find a muffler with dual tips and then order the diffuser with dual tips as well
