For the people in the back, I''m going to translate Chris's stance on relationships from his perspective lifestyle. He keeps saying "versatile". Chris is saying that women must understand that his flexible schedule could require him to be in Timbuktu one day and the next in Chicago His busy schedule doesn't mean that he's cheating. He needs an understanding patient woman who is secure.

The way Ready to Love is designed is not for ratings, not fostering healthy relationships with stable people. Hopefully the exposure from Chris’s short time on the show leads him to a lovely lady. Also nice to see he could rock any hairstyle 👌🏼
Everything on TV is about ratings. If people stopped watching, then it wouldn't exist or producers would have to attend to its many critiques and actually change things.
He was very polite and gentlemanly about it, but we got the point. 🥴 Their joint cackle session gave me life. I was cackling with them. 🤣
1st interview this season huh? Chris is extremely sweet but busy. Also, based off how Kojo had to pull that emotional aspect of him not having his parents around, I think he still kinda glossed over it. He is not tapped into his emotions. A lot of people are not but I think he is still a great guy. The only thing is when the dynamics in a relationship change like getting married and having children, he must adjust his lifestyle and his emotional availability or it will not work. I am dealing with this right now with my husband. He is a Nigerian, professional photographer & he is always working and rarely home. It's not okay and we have a child together. I just can't go everywhere with him because our child needs stability. He may not ever get married or if he does, he may get divorced just by his lifestyle.
You do have to contend that he believes it's your duty to be with your child and not him, esp. if that's part of his cultural values. It's unfortunate, but it wouldn't surprise me.
Yeah I agree, he keeps things very surface level; it's as if he suppressed his feelings so long, you have to travel to the abyss to get em. He's quite out of touch or unintelligent emotionally.

@Heyu7her3 You are absolutely correct! I'm married to a Nigerian as well. It's all about work work and providing. That system is rooted in them . Unfortunately, just bringing home money will not keep a marriage functioning. My husband don't think about vacations, family time or etc. It's getting his daily bread. He didn't see romance, affection (parents) etc, just his father trying to keep the family afloat. It's a work in progress.
@@leesha4u I think that style of parenting will die out once the newer generation realizes they missed out on essential bonding family time. My father spent time with me but he was my personal tutor given he was a teacher so I wouldn't exactly call it fun times, no parks, movie night, etc but he was certainly home in the evening.

It was insinuated that Chris didn't have enough substance which was part of the reason why he was voted off. Jessica mocked him for talking to much about himself but he seems to present himself very well in my opinion. He seems like a straight up guy and was never really given a fair chance. This cast wasn't a good fit for him, he probably needed to be on another season, he's a good guy.
You don't see it? He's emotionally inept, Kojo tries to illicit an emotional response but Chris isn't able to go there...this whole interview is static, there's no depth or emotional analysis.

"You have to fail to realize" is confusing me....
I do not get the sense that he is ready to love just yet, he is ready to play a bit; what he calls versatile is an excuse to not settle down. He says he is confident but left women on the table because they already had connections? Is that insecurity or pride? I don't know. I also believe that he went on the show for more visibility for his film career so there's that.
I think his hyper independence growing up and lack of parental presence probably left him a little closed off emotionally. I think he also wants a woman to chase him, but unfortunately the type of women that chases a man would probably not be his type.
