The part showing you vacuuming leaves painted a smile on my face. After raking just a third of an acre last year.....never again now thanks for showing how this works.
i cant tell you how happy i am for seeing this video. I was struggling for more than 30 min to figure out how to switch from blower to vacuum. thank you for posting this.
Thanks dude, I got this setup a while back but didn’t really think much about the vac function and now I see it in action I’m changing my mind. I have a couple of clients who are really going to appreciate this.
Really helpful video, Ryan. My new machine didn't come with an instruction page or booklet, so I wanted to confirm how to release the orange side cover without snapping something off! You demonstrated it well. We don't have so many leaves in autumn here in Australia, but enough to use a few times. Mostly it is light, yet powerful blower.
The plastic cover on the impeller is spring loaded so once you unlock it, make sure to hold it open otherwise it will shut close and you need to insert the screwdriver again.
After surfing the net.Yours was the only tutorial I could find on how to attach the vac kit. Thanks Heaps! ...My concern is if accidently vacuum up a piece of metal or stone etc,it would damage blades.
Just a tip; You would never spend the time to suck up an entire pile of leaves like this. You would simply rake them up. This device is for removing leaves etc. from flower beds or hard to rake places, thus saving you the trouble of crawling around on your knees or stooping over for long periods. I just ordered one of these today, $300 (includes the 9.5% tax here).
I was looking for a lightweight blower for my deck.
Thanks mate 8 years later, this video is still the gift that keeps on giving.

I've had mine for four years and I love it. If you take care of it it is a great combo, it has not let me down one time.
