You wanna know what fucks me up the most? The fact that everyone forgets 343 already had a great customization system in Halo 4. There were so many parts to choose from and a lot of interesting new sets you got from either unlocks or special challenges you got after hitting a certain rank. It feels like they've been regressing ever since 4 in terms of player expression and choice when it comes to making your profile yours. And my theory is that the MP was divorced from the single player to justify monetizing the hell out of it, because delaying 1 year and this is what we got? How fucking broken was it a year ago? If the singleplayer isn't the best campaign in the entire series it will not justify that $60 price tag I can guarantee that.
You’re right, halo 4 customization was great, I remember trying to build a really bulky, tanky looking spartan and spent weeks getting all the challenges done. Once I did I had a spartan that was built for me and only me. Nobody else had my exact design. Meanwhile in halo infinite you see people who haven’t even learnt the basics of halo multiplayer running around with Emile, odst, and recon armor. It’s so disrespectful considering how hard we had to grind to get such a unique piece of armor in previous halos. Then, halo infinite comes along and throws the armor at the player as if it is a vending machine spitting out Diet Coke.
Campaign was solid. Got me 18 hours of gameplay and I only got about half of the collectibles. Heroic is balanced and fun. Best characterization and humanization of chief in the series as well as the best dialogue the series has to offer (except maybe gravemind). Worth the money imo, gonna replay is twice more for the speed run and collectibles achievements.
A wonderful game bogged down by an atrocious monetization and customization system. The fact that the first free helmet unlock is tier 81 is just disgusting, and there’s no armour unlocks from campaign, only coatings. Customizability has been a core aspect of halo since 3, and halo reach right after had the most expansive selection yet. The fact that we have a reach battle pass and it doesn’t feature all the halo reach armour in it, much less basic colours for your Spartan like White and Black, but are rather locked behind 20 dollar pay walls hurts… oh and that 20 dollar pay wall is only for one Spartan core… yeah… yeah this hurts. It sucks because the gameplay may be the best in the series.
I agree but I don’t care that much to customise my Spartan. The core gamely is the best we have had. I can’t remember the Last time in the passed 10 years we have had a better arena shooter
@@zackrose6261 TL;DR Its probably a nostalgia thing, but most people aren't saying the game is bad, just its progression/customization is and its enough to put the game down I think a lot of people haven't realized that the older generation playing Halo have been playing it since they were kids which adds in a whole nostalgia component. I remember playing Halo:CE as it came out when I was like 9. I've had the same Emblem ever since the launch of Halo 2 when I made it cross-legged on the floor of a coincidentally timed middle-school birthday party. In the coming years, on Fridays, my friends would bring their dang xbox's to school so we could LAN at my house over the weekend. Everyone had their own Spartan/Elite. Every time I saw that Emblem when playing MCC, a small part of me was reminded of those times, probably some of my best gaming memories. Yes, making a custom Emblem (I'm probably the only person that cares about this lol) or having your spartan look how you want is just a novelty, but humans have a weird way of giving novelties sentimental value. Then, when it feels so bad trying to get access to that sentimental value, well... I see few people directly saying its a bad game without hyperbole. Most are saying its a predatory one because, frankly, if you care about customization it is predatory and that is bad. It's practically a step backward, akin to something like smashbros forcing you to buy a battle pass if you want different skins for your characters. I'll be the first to stand up and say the game has never felt better, but I gotta sit back down when they want to squeeze so much out of me for something that has always been easily plucked from the tree.
It's crazy to think that its so hard for developers to simply copy/paste Reach's best parts. Nobody has ever said a bad word about Reach's progression/customization.
Something I love is that there's a sound cue for when an enemy's shield goes down. Hearing that blip helps a lot when deciding whether or not to be more aggressive
The part that hurts the most about armor cores having their own separate cosmetics is that the bots in custom games have mixed cosmetics from different armor cores thus proving it's possible but just not allowed xd
Aside from the agregious monetization and customization issues, I absolutely love Infinite's multiplayer. The sandbox, the gameplay, the map designs, all of it. Edit: Also I just realized Brick's title is a Rogue One reference lol
@@JimmmmmmmmmmmY It isn't shit, you just refuse to adapt to the new mechanics. Sprint isn't there to bolt around the map quickly or escape danger like it is in COD, it is used to traverse larger open areas slightly faster but most importantly gives access to slide. Aside from disliking sprint, which is a personal opinion, the gameplay, weapon sandbox, and etc I listed above are all near perfect. I have zero understanding how someone who enjoys the old Halo games could NOT like these things things. It is legitimately a perfect blend of most of the best mechanics and ideas from each game. It's so accurate; when gameplay is this good, it makes the flaws surrounding it all the more glaring. Here's hoping we get a progression system fix soon that doesn't make it feel like we're army-crawling through broken glass and shattered dreams
Coming back to this video 10 months later knowing absolutely nothing has changed and the game still has all of the exact same problems is heartbreaking...
Bricky you vocalize something I think a lot of halo fans are feeling. Thanks for listing fixes instead of just complaining like a lot of other people are doing. This was great and I hope they listen.
One of my randomly generated day one challenges when the multiplayer first came out was to splatter with a vehicle 5 enemies using the repulsor, life was pain until the challenges got swapped.
A cosmetic system where you unlock stuff with points from gameplay, and then have a shop without fomo where more absurd cosmetics are would be great and alot of people would use it.
I have always been saying that about halo, that gun skill can really matter. Can you get 1 good shot? How about 4 good shots while underfire, being pushed, or moving from a nade? It's not a THE superior FPS out there, and any claim like that is igrorant, but it certainly is up there and this game has really returned to that.
not true cause they compensate you with not a lot of movement after you are shot, you are like a turret, and that not realistic or competitive either, you got shot is not like you can go all blazing back afterwards, there is no skill in halo just don't try to fool yourself, this game lacks speed other games are way faster and thinking fast and react fast its talent and skill, not that you got shot in the back and you live to kill the other guy, wtf is that ANIME?
@@Bashman20 Maybe not everyone likes games where you get killed in 0.002 of a second and everyone just defaults to the 2-3 guns that do so while having enough ammo and accuracy (m4/ak in cs:go). Higher damage as a means to make gameplay faster as thus "more exciting" is not always a good thing. I know it's not a shooter, but the last few seasons of league of legends are a great example of it. It's oneshot or be oneshotted.
@@Bashman20 Who said anything about realism? If you want that, go play tarkov. We're talking about GUN SKILL within the parameters of the games sandbox. CSGO, COD, BF, Tarkov, all go for more realism in that a bullet ends you, but what makes halo so fun is that you're a literal super soldier. One shot to the head? Okay, git gud with the sniper to do that, otherwise you better learn to be CONSISTENT with your shot groupings to be better.
speaking of challenges, my friend had to destroy an enemy warthog. Not help destroy it, last hit it. Doesn't sound hard on paper, but then you have to get the powerweapons. The rocket doesn't one shot warthogs. Enemies jump out of dying vehicles. this ended when he got a re-roll to get rid of the challenge
Honestly one of the easiest ones to get. Just defend on CTF with a hydra can’t tell you how many warthogs I destroyed with that strat. Plus plasma grenades can do the trick too.
Easiest one yet, hammer 1 shots warthog, skewer does insane damage and 1 shots it if it is anything less of 90% health, there are easier ways but that challenge is not hard
@@titoskeleton9571 I guess i'll just tell my friend to camp the hammer along with the other 5 people camping it. Or just hit a warthog twice with the slow to reload skewer. I get what you're saying but other things affect the challange. Also the power weapons can just kill the driver without destroying the warthog
@@uBpGK Ok, but you can't always get the hydra, he mostly plays big team battle rather than 4v4. So there is a lot of people grabbing weapons. Also the hydra can kill the players in the warthog before destroying the warthog, and like I mentioned before, they can just jump out before the warthog is destroyed
@@Nixtrick two of the big team maps the hydra respawns pretty fast and in two places for some modes. Agree with everything but one thing. They didn’t mess up the BP they designed the progression to be painful so people would be more likely to spend money.
Always happy to see a level-headed critique that is so punchy and easy to get behind without dogpiling 343 and throwing them under the bus. The progression for Reach was fantastic but the core MP experience had glaring issues with a quarter to half of the weapons nearly ever being used with armor abilities and loadouts drastically affecting the meta and flow of Halo's core gameplay. I'm gonna say it, 343 made a better Reach MP successor. Customization and progression has a long way to go and providing level-headed constructive feedback is the best way to make the pinnacle of Halo MP experiences and Bricky is a shining example to follow!
Yeah sadly the Community is full of so many POS that they even had to shut down the subreddit. The game hit so many things right and only screwed up one thing, and that one thing is an easy fix.
I never played much Halo before (maybe like 3 hours total) and I thought it was alright. After watching gameplay recently and now this video, I now understand why this game is loved so much. Now that I can play it with a mouse and keyboard, may just pick it up. As for what you said about the cosmetics, couldn't agree more. There aren't many games that do battlepass/progression system well. I imagine those in charge of planning out the system err on the side of caution and don't want to give too much away.
I've never played a single minute of any Halo, but here I am listening to this beatiful bearded god talking for 25 minutes about a multiplayer and his CBT. Awesome content Bricky! :D
I’m going to be honest, I always expect a bad game launch, and this one was amazing at its core. It’s got a ways to go, and thankfully it’s going in the right direction ❤️
As long as the devs keep an ear out and keep working out the issues they get pointed to they'll make this a great game! Should focus on the issues before releasing any new content after release making sure that the new content doesn't also need to fixed.
Bro I legit feel crazy man, since when are we praising AAA devs backed by trillion dollar companies literally just because the game they released works for the most part. This is insane to me.
Yeah right just two game modes forcing us to play modes many hate and wouldn’t wanna play. Zero customization, bland music, spam grenades. I can go on I would have liked to purchase the game so each match gave me some kind of reward for unlocking modifications but nah we got the infamous Fortnite store in a game that’ll die out in 1-2 years
If they bring back map voting, I hope the do it like how mario kart 8 does it. Where it's not the majority vote that votes for it like most. It's more like raffle where the game would randomly pick player votes, so that even the map with the least amount of votes still has a chance. It's a lower chance, but still a chance
@@xXNeoNashXx you do know the majority vote would usually vote for the same maps most of the time. So it might be fine for someone who just got in, someone who has been playing for a while would play the same two maps give or take. Variety is the key for a game's longevity, and playing the same one or two maps for a long period of time without any changes gets boring no matter how good it is. Plus if a challenge requires playing on a specific map, people would keep playing that same map for weeks maybe. If 343 ever add a challenge like that. Also there's a chance the majority vote would choose the worst match because trolling
The more time passes the more this video depresses me because you're exactly right. They were SO close and they just completely fumbled it at the finish line.
Would love it if the challenges were just like, Kill enemies with energy weapons, Kill enemies with precision weapons, vehicle kills, complete map objectives just simple stuff like that would be way easier, more fun and would just progress as you play the game
%100 agree with you bricky, me and my friends all say the same and it’s a shame they ignored the alpha testers who told them the same issues but hopefully they fix these things in the new year like they said they would
The problem is that these companies aren’t trying to make the best game they can. They are trying to make a game that is juuuust good enough that you will play it in spite of all the greedy bullsht ruining it.
The problem is 343 game devs did actually make the best game they could, in terms of gameplay. Game devs themselves clearly spent hours racking their brains to create the best halo experience they could here. Harkening back to the good ol days halo 2, 3, and reach provided us with the gameplay and creating in my opinion a very good forward thinking halo campaign. I feel as if the problem lies in halo being such a massive property for one of the most profitable companies in the world (microsoft) and that there's pressure from all sorts of people to monetize the game in spite of the greatness the game could have. Obviously the progression system is trash. Drip feeding us content such as fan favorite playlists is trash. But man the game is really good. I hope community backlash continues to reach people who need to hear it.
"Goose Juice" Get 15 kills with the gun goose. Yea so I played 10 matches and only one of those matches got the gun goose and a teammate got it and immediately died with it, well I rerolled.
"You don't feel horribly awful if you get killed by these special weapons" Speak for yourself, this game tilts me like none other haha. Still love the game, just I've never been good at Halo MP.
I’m not a huge halo fan but I adored Reach when it was popular. On sound, one thing I noticed personally was the sound of the assault rifle. It was always my favorite gun in just asthetic and simplicity but in reach I felt it’s sound was lacking. It wasn’t bad by any means but I felt like it’s look didn’t match it’s sound. Infinite definitely did the sound of the assault rifle justice IMO. Great video as always my friend!
Totally agree on reach having the best system. Was so cool. Ranking system was sick. Buying nothing and saving up for Inclement Weather had the biggest dick energy.
The sound effects of this are actually kind of cheap and off sounding/jarring. There isn't even footstep audio. I was definitely confused why he brought that up as a plus.
Invasion in Reach was good with the loadouts (for the most part) because it gradually unlocked loadouts depending how far along the match goes. I hope it makes a return in some form but that will be a while
A small, prickly part of me wants to say, "The reason to want to win should be victory," but intrinsic and extrinsic motivation are two separate things and different people respond differently to each, and context matters a lot.
One of THE most important parts of this video, to me, was bricky stating that "you don't mind as much when you get killed and your car does a ton of spins" The beauty of halo is that you don't really get mad if someone kills you with some nigh on inpossible grenade toss, physics shenanigans etc. It's a joy for pro's and casuals alike. Because whether you're good or bad at the game, it's enjoyable for everyone.
Yeah, but sadly the clipping through enemy players is f-ing me up bad. Makes my death feel cheap when my brain just doesn’t forget all other Halo games. Never react right to them being behind me all of a sudden instead of in front, or to my side. Gets me killed every time. Why would they think this was a good idea though?!
Finally someone explains the whole situation about the battle pass. It uses XP because there's nothing else to level. And that's a big hugenormous problem.
I am pretty optimistic that they'll be fixing a lot of this, but at the same time it feels like there's some weird internal struggle going at 343/microsoft. The stalling for time, excuses as to why things should be easy to fix but aren't, etc.
I have no idea how titanfall 2's idea of a customizable playlist never caught on. you can select any number of gamemodes, or one specific one. That's how I feel like all matchmaking in these games should be.
Bruh the campaign is padded out open world trash and the story is awful. Most people don’t know who atriox is from halo wars, they introduce him, he disappears once the game starts. They introduce the weapon as if were supposed to know who tf that is. Chief, the scientifically engineered killing machine, is now some emotional sad boy becuase he’s finding dead Spartans when the planet he was pretty much raised on and almost everyone he ever knew were glassed during reach and he literally never brought it up once because it didn’t affect him at all, what about that scene where your buddy in the pelican is literally on the verge of self deletion and master chief cheers him up with two words and he’s suddenly mr positive? How about them introducing some new threat somehow worse than the flood even though the whole point of the flood is it’s such an unstoppable force that god aliens made planet sized super weapons to stop it? 343 fundamentally doesn’t understand halo and just making a story emotional doesn’t make it good
@@didyfinkise9033 hahaha dont use Reddit and DONT even understand the fedora thing, just making totally valid criticism of the game, but I know its hard when ppl are meanies about the game you’re too fanboyish to critisize
Halo infinite is like a 5 star cheeseburger, except it comes with soggy fries and an extremely carbonated Diet Coke. The cheeseburger is the core gameplay and the sides are the customization and progression system.
God I miss the days when you just bought a game on disk and there was none of this extra money grabbing bullsh*t 😅 it seems every game I've purchased ends up costing 3 times as much in reality to actually get the full damn game
Okay, I know this is gonna sound fucking weird. But my final exam is to pick one really good presenter and explain why they're so good at presenting their topics, and I chose Bricky lol Wish me luck lmao
I would rather a game have to fix its cosmetic/progression system than have to fix its gameplay loop. 343 has been very open about listening to feedback and have talked about introducing a personal progression system. Thank you for this Bricky, Halo Infinite has become my new favorite Halo game and I hope to see you make a new video a couple years from now about Infinite and where it’s at.
This was a dope critique. Talking about what was good as well as bad. Being detailed about the specifics that made it good and bad. Then being even more specific about the changes that would make the game feel better. Chefs kiss, take my like and comment.
I'm at least hopeful about changes to their progression system. The fact that everyone is making a stink and they are actually acknowledging it makes me hope that the current bandaid of daily game bonuses won't be the only changes.
The challenges are definitely the biggest problem to me so far. My fix is if it wants a certain matchtype to be played then that one has increased chance of getting selected on your next match until that challenge is won. You need no more than 3 kills with weapons, and only 1 for the rarer ones (some guns that aren't even power weapons are still really rare), 1 kill with vehicles. There won't be challenges specific to certain vehicles (since they are so rare) or maps. None for "play 3 games" or whatever, since you are doing that anyways and while its a freebie, its a grindy one that takes up space for 3 games when other challenges could only last 1 game. Also the Chalenge Swaps should just be challenge clears, they are currently worthless since they just change the challenge randomly as far as I know (I'm not wasting them), and you get so many of them but they don't honestly help you get through the weekly challenges easier so they are currently worthless battle bass fodder. These changes should help (especially if you can tell for certain that it counted that kill for the challenge during the match) so that people will be less incentivized to quit games to grind challenges, or sabotage performance to grind them, and you can feel more capable to just play the game as you like instead of trying to balance doing as many challenges at once and searching for a specific gun all game instead of focusing on the game itself. Like challenges are neat, but they get in the way too much, I felt the same way in DOOM 2016/Eternal, where I was too focused on having to remember and perform all the weapon challenges to get the gun upgraded that I couldn't even enjoy the game until AFTER I finished those challenges, and this game is a never ending version of that with no reward at the end because no way am I gonna grind out ALL of those challenges in time. Making it easier is just better for everyone, OR make them way harder and WAY fewer (but not harder like "get 100 kills with this weapon" which is just braindead and annoying) like "get *1* head shot" or "grapple a grenade" with so few of them that having to grind these hard ones will still not waste your time as much. Currently the challenges are so difficult to actually get for unintended reasons. I had "get one kill with the mangler", which is honestly a really good one since it doesn't require grinding and a lot of maps tend to have that gun. Yet I played a game and got a 3 kill streak with the mangler among other kills throughout the match since it happens to be my favorite gun so far, so I'm decent with it. At the end of the match it said I didn't get the challenge, because apparently none of those kills counted, despite none of them being assists or grenade kills from what I remember, so either I have TERRIBLE luck, or the game is really bad about what it counts towards the kill. Likely because the game is so physics based, perhaps it thought some other thing was the cause of death, like they bumbed a wall when dying and it counted as a splatter internally or something to that affect. So it should be more lenient on what is counted towards the cause of death for these challenges. It could also be lag or desync, I had "get 10 kills with a vehicle" (sorta nebulous if this counts turrets, obviously it means splatters, but the way its phrased should account for other vehicle-based kills like jacking and killing as a passenger, personally) and getting splatters is REALLY hard for me for some reason. I don't know if its just harder in this game or what because I hit several people and they just bounced off me and sometimes didn't even lose armor. One time I rammed fullspeed into someone and hit them and I bounced off of them and then exploded from their rocket launcher. Likely they shot me first on their screen so I never had the chance to hit them, but from my view I was unharmed and hit them fully (their armor even sparked a bit) and bounced back a full 2 seconds before exploding so desync definitely had a hand here. And the terrain is bumby, so one time I drove full speed at a guy and hit a bump on my right side which lifted the Hog onto its left side and the wheels were just high enough to miss the guy's head, I didn't even flip I actually landed back on that wheel but I still missed the kill. In fact the challenge made a fun "oopsie" like that would normally be into a genuinely bad time. So basically, its already hard enough getting kills that count toward the challenge in the first place, so why make them so grindy on top of that? I went through 5 big team battles and got about 5 splatters (and that's just counting the levels that had vehicles in them) which is only half the challenge, getting 1 splatter is much better since its so rare and I don't have to sabotage my team by grinding out for multiple games. Anyways, sorry for the rant, but the fact that I've lost challenges despite clearly getting the kill or having it stolen from a teammate, as well as the grind pairing with pure luck in even getting the chance to do the grind, have all made the challenges worthless to me and I might seriously never try to play this game in any other way than casually. You know, I just play it because I want to and ignore everything else. Which is the opposite of what they clearly want, which is for you to get addicted enough to grind out everything and stick with the game for years. Even CoD Mobile I played for about 2 years grinding out every challenge and getting every free skin (and even some premium ones when my brother-in-law bought the battle pass (which you can then earn credits to buy the next one through, so that's why I needed to grind so that I could stay "free-to-play"), but I feel no incentive with this game currently. I still might play about 3-5 games every other day though, since its so fun, but I'm not considering playing daily yet that's for sure.
Reach had a good progression system, but i still feel like 3 was better. In reach you just know who had no life. In halo 3 you saw who actually accomplished hard things in multiplayer, like seeing people with the katana and finding out how they got it, reach had none of that.
To be honest, I'm happy with the multiplayer. Yeah, I can't get a bunch of cosmetics without buying something. At the end of the day, though? That's all they are - cosmetics. Nothing to change skill, nothing to change gameplay.
Also bring back the reticle turning red when you target an enemy, as a halo vet its annoying not seeing that feedback that's been in the game for years and it's gone for no reason.
You always get all sides of the story and come out with pros and cons while still being fair but harsh and that is the content I come here for and love
An extra 5 or 10 exp for each metal that you get in a game would be really nice too. I'd like to feel rewarded for my triple kills and killing sprees lol
The AIs are so incredibly fun, I can't believe we haven't had them in a Halo game before. I especially love that each AI has it's own personality, like they have weapon/play style preferences and have different voice lines depending on how you play. Gives a lot to making you feel like an actual spartan
I don’t understand why people say this game is free. Campaign mode still costs $60. Multiplayer is just that free sample to bring you in and entice you to buy the game for full price. It’s a common strategy used by drug dealers.
They should let us at least mix and match the armor coatings/colors we've already unlocked/bought. The fact that you're so restricted to customizing your guy is pretty dumb. I also agree, the progression system needs to have incentive. So many matches people quit out or dont do the objective, because they're trying to do their challenges.
Halo Infinite is like a cake. It sucks that there's no icing, but I'm fine with waiting for it, cause I have a feeling that they're gonna cover that shit in sprinkles too.

Exactly! Halo 4's customisation was really good
You’re right, halo 4 customization was great, I remember trying to build a really bulky, tanky looking spartan and spent weeks getting all the challenges done.
Too be fair, halo 4 arts style makes most of the non helmet armors look the same. This may be why most forgot halo 4 armor customization.
Campaign is absolutely worth it.
It’s become one of my favorites in the series because of the dialogue and just straight up fun factor of it all
A wonderful game bogged down by an atrocious monetization and customization system.
It sucks because the gameplay may be the best in the series.
yeah agree but for game that got scrapped and got worked for 3,5 years is great but i hope they will add select gamemodes and after match lobby
I agree but I don’t care that much to customise my Spartan. The core gamely is the best we have had. I can’t remember the Last time in the passed 10 years we have had a better arena shooter
@@MrDustyGaming yeah customization has always really been a novelty for the most part, albeit, a very important one.
@@why8298 Pretty much, But I don't get how people seem to correlate it to being a bad game, when it's really only a cosmetic thing.
@@zackrose6261
TL;DR Its probably a nostalgia thing, but most people aren't saying the game is bad, just its progression/customization is and its enough to put the game down
I think a lot of people haven't realized that the older generation playing Halo have been playing it since they were kids which adds in a whole nostalgia component.
Nobody has ever said a bad word about Reach's progression/customization.
but how will they introduce crazy monetization catering to whales, if people can have good progression system without paying shit load
Speaking of sound design in FPS games, I always found the Titanfall 2 kill sound sooo satisfying
Agreed
Something I love is that there's a sound cue for when an enemy's shield goes down. Hearing that blip helps a lot when deciding whether or not to be more aggressive

Aside from the agregious monetization and customization issues, I absolutely love Infinite's multiplayer. The sandbox, the gameplay, the map designs, all of it.
Edit: Also I just realized Brick's title is a Rogue One reference lol
Infinites multiplayer is still shite. Look man... I always hated sprint. I'm not a fan of that.

This video is far more optimistic than the title suggests. You should changed it to 'You are THIS close to greatness'

Stg I’ve never been so sick of playing oddball before. The randomized mode playlists are literally sucking the joy out of good halo multiplayer modes!
A small, prickly part of me wants to say, "The reason to want to win should be victory," but intrinsic and extrinsic motivation are two separate things and different people respond differently to each, and context matters a lot.
One of THE most important parts of this video, to me, was bricky stating that "you don't mind as much when you get killed and your car does a ton of spins"
The beauty of halo is that you don't really get mad if someone kills you with some nigh on inpossible grenade toss, physics shenanigans etc.
At least the campaign is pretty awesome, can't wait to see what modders do with it.

Your evolution on youtube has been the absolute best! You've done a great job over the years!
Honestly the lack of content hurts it more than the abysmal “progression”. Only 10 maps and like 5 game modes?
Bricky's sponsorship segue's are always a fun time.
Reach had a good progression system, but i still feel like 3 was better. In reach you just know who had no life. In halo 3 you saw who actually accomplished hard things in multiplayer, like seeing people with the katana and finding out how they got it, reach had none of that.
Your glee for the ultrasmurfs is now lore as it is spoken by loremaster luetin. All hail lord bricky
To be honest, I'm happy with the multiplayer. Yeah, I can't get a bunch of cosmetics without buying something. At the end of the day, though? That's all they are - cosmetics. Nothing to change skill, nothing to change gameplay.
Yeah but saying this seems to just piss everyone that lives to complain off. In other news, the campaign is phenomenal 👌
10:41 *people who remember Dinklebot from Destiny 1:* "No thanks, I'm good."
I really miss being able to play as an Elite in Halo. Spartans are fun but wort wort wort is supreme.
Also bring back the reticle turning red when you target an enemy, as a halo vet its annoying not seeing that feedback that's been in the game for years and it's gone for no reason.
You always get all sides of the story and come out with pros and cons while still being fair but harsh and that is the content I come here for and love
The sponsor intros always get me
An extra 5 or 10 exp for each metal that you get in a game would be really nice too. I'd like to feel rewarded for my triple kills and killing sprees lol
Bricky always manages to take the collective unconscious of a community and put it into comprehensible words
The AIs are so incredibly fun, I can't believe we haven't had them in a Halo game before. I especially love that each AI has it's own personality, like they have weapon/play style preferences and have different voice lines depending on how you play. Gives a lot to making you feel like an actual spartan
Coming back to this video after some time hurts. Rip Halo
I don’t understand why people say this game is free. Campaign mode still costs $60. Multiplayer is just that free sample to bring you in and entice you to buy the game for full price. It’s a common strategy used by drug dealers.
Bricky your cool I got into warhammer because of Adeptus Ridiculous and I am totally listening to your game reviews, thanks for the quality content!
"No matter what you do, eventually they'll hate you."
You stated your points in a clear and understandable way and said everything that I myself had a hard time putting into words. Thank you bricky.
