Burt, I am so sorry to hear this, but it is not final yet. If you need any treatment, you just get it and DO NOT Worry about how much it may cost. You can deal with all that after you get whatever treatment you may need. First, get the treatment, then just pay your rent and make sure you can eat. If you end up with debt...there are definitely things you can do. You are going through the fire and you will be so much stronger once you get through it. Your insurance from your job is probably the worse insurance you can have. But the hospital has ways that you can handle this. You NEED to talk with hospital once you find out exactly what you will be doing. I just heard that my daughter Sherrita has a life threatening blood clot. She's in the hospital as we speak with her husband. She is my only child and my heart, so when she told me tonight I didn't want to borrow trouble so I'm leaving it in God's Hands. Oh, I know you don't want to think about it but bankruptcy can take off all of those bills. So, I say it again, DO NOT worry about hospital bills. Let them call and watch them get blood out of rock....don't worry about that...just catch up with your rent.
