Hi Burt! You are correct, God got us!! Sherrita got to hospital in time. She's still there and they are treating her. I talked to my older sister today and she said it seems like this stuff doesn't end. I told her that 2025 has started like this but it is a wake up call for Sherrita. She needs a surgery she has been putting off and because of that problem she now has this problem. Sherrita told me that she's worried about bills and she won't have any sick time, and I told her not to worry all that will be figured out but if you don't get the surgery you need, YOU won't be here so none of that other stuff matters. I will help her as much as I can and I KNOW GOD HAS this and she will be alright...nothing but stronger. The same is for you...you make sure you're able to take care of your rent...get whatever treatments you need and there WILL be another way to pay for it OR...THOSE BILLS WILL DISAPPEAR!!

Burt, I am so sorry to hear this, but it is not final yet. If you need any treatment, you just get it and DO NOT Worry about how much it may cost. You can deal with all that after you get whatever treatment you may need. First, get the treatment, then just pay your rent and make sure you can eat. If you end up with debt...there are definitely things you can do. You are going through the fire and you will be so much stronger once you get through it. Your insurance from your job is probably the worse insurance you can have. But the hospital has ways that you can handle this. You NEED to talk with hospital once you find out exactly what you will be doing. I just heard that my daughter Sherrita has a life threatening blood clot. She's in the hospital as we speak with her husband. She is my only child and my heart, so when she told me tonight I didn't want to borrow trouble so I'm leaving it in God's Hands. Oh, I know you don't want to think about it but bankruptcy can take off all of those bills. So, I say it again, DO NOT worry about hospital bills. Let them call and watch them get blood out of rock....don't worry about that...just catch up with your rent.

I love the conversation. Your friends outlook is a great one. My mom died when I was 32 and Sherrita's dad died when she was 22. When my late husband died, I said to a friend that he died so young...she said what is young. It was his time, a baby can die a day after he was born, and that was that babies time. I like to look at the positive, they are out of pain. Nobody wants to see their loved ones suffer. There is ALWAYS something good in something bad...it's a mindset. But I do understand the feeling when you hear songs that they used to love, now I just smile because I know they are standing right beside me helping me get close to God!!
