If you're using FL Studio, there's a plugin called Control Surface I think that is like the knob interface of patcher, you can link all those knobs to different parameters and set their max and min values in there, and then use the preset randomizer to set random values.
I can just imagine the possibilities of linking Ableton's shaper to the random knob so you randomize the rate of the lfo, randomize how much the lfo rate changes, and randomize the min and max values. Hook it up to autofilters and you got yourself a reese making machine!
This is extremely helpful. The thing I struggle with the most when it comes to music is sound selection. Self-similarity seems to be the best way to create a certain vibe with your music so this is actually such a level up. You definitely just opened a whole new world of sound design up for myself! Thank you!
Ur insane man the randomization function is so crucial to work flow. VRs new video went over how to get crazy drum patterns essentially doing the same thing but with a drum sequencer. Keep it up
Great tutorial. wish you all the best getting 100k subs and more. For someone like me who is in production for almost 10 years and been doing dubstep type stuff for over a year, your tutorials are really helpful because you are the only one (at least Im aware) of the scene that is covering those type of details that I can't seem to find online.
Been doing this recently, randomness is where it's at, ableton 11 step up the game. Another cool advice I've seen is just go to serum, make a long note and start just brush automation the shit out of every knob you can = random sounds with random length
Bro this is hardcore cheating, I love it. A man either cheats on games, or he cheats on his woman.... But now we have also been given the ability to cheat in music thanks to Dr.Ozi
