One of my favorites for piano is to reverse the midi -> flatten -> then reverse the sample so the chord progression stays in tact but still sounds reversed
Dude this was EXTREMELY helpful! Thank you so much for showing this off. Most time I tend to over stack layers and layers to add those lil details and the project can get complicated and tiring very fast. This way I’m keeping it minimal AND getting so so much detail for each instrument instance. Absolute game changer!
I'm really glad this resonated with you! I totally get what you mean about over-stacking layers-it can get overwhelming fast. Keeping things minimal but focused lets each sound breathe, and you can still achieve those intricate details without it feeling chaotic. Stoked that this approach is helping streamline your workflow! Keep crushing it, and thanks for the awesome feedback 🙌
Damn bro, I almost finished a track but thought that my intros and breaks were too "flat sounding", too boring, and this video is 100% EXACTLY what I needed. I don't use Shaperbox so much, actually, I rarely ever use it, but this video convinced me otherwise, it will now become a plugin I use very often. Dr.Ozi is always the shit, this man single-handedly spiced up my music production life, he is the true final boss of music production
Aye! i am so happy it worked out for you! You don't NEED shaperbox. You could simply put an FX that gives it dirt and character and automate. BUT this makes me sooooo happy to hear!
I been resampling, extending my drum beat but not reversing, add a vocoder with long sustain or automated and shrink back to original tempo, you can get some nice atmosphere or bass that fits so well with the original beat
Can you like add ott on all of your music bc its funny that way Edit1: funniest comment ever Edit2: funniest comment ever Edit3: funniest comment ever Edit4: funniest comment ever Edit5: funniest comment ever Edit6: funniest comment ever Edit7: please laugh Edit8: funniest comment ever Edit9: funniest comment ever Edit10: funniest comment ever Edit11: funniest comment ever Edit12: funniest comment ever
