Lol Shota in the beginning... I forget Shota and the other Japanese players are literally playing this tournament in the middle of their night time...jet lag sucks! I went to Tokyo before and the time change never got " normal " to me in 10 days. Everybody was like " oh you'll get used too it in two days..." I didnt. I went out everyday since I was visiting a friend but it was like I was just partying all night for 10 days. I sleep like 18 hours the day I came home .. Do they ever have GPs or events in Japan? The Japanese players have a big handicap playing in america and they're still beasts.
Please provide some thoughts anyone, but end of game one did you notice that Shota splits his sideboard into 2, half in front half in back. Maybe what's going in, what's staying out? Does this help the speed of his side boarding? It's very interesting.
He is putting 15 cards from sideboard into his deck and then removing 15 to conceal how many cards are actually being side-boarded in. As far as the split, probably to get a good idea of what to consider to actually bring in for the match-up.
M. Vipsanius Agrippa Because they play 4 colors since Tropical island is in there deck and that abomination of a card Deathrite Shaman lets them mush the rainbow together allowing them to play anything
I know what this deck does, I played it since treasure cruise got banned. But NOBODY I know who has a clue about legacy calls it "4c-delver", that term was reserved for a deck with tarmogoyfs and abrupt decays as well as lightning bolts in a time where you wanted the decays against counterbalance. You know, a deck that ACTUALLY played 4 colors. They also called Wilson Hunter's Grixis control list that splashed a tropical for deathrite 4c-control though it played pyromancer and not a single card with a sole green mana symbol in its 75.
Aside from the annoying way they keep referring to Grixis Delver as 4 Color Delver, that was a fantastic match. Josh put on a master class performance there.
Anyone else love watching these old legacy videos just to look at all those lovely OG dual lands? :D
:D!!!!!
I was trying to remember why these would have been 4 colour since this is pre-Uro. Then Raptor played a Gitaxian Probe and it became to much clearer
The number of lands drawn by shoota game two was absurd. He shuffled that library TOO well
Why the heck is the judge just smelling shota’s hair the entire match kinda weird
She could smell my hair any day of the week.

@@BeenJamminable I appreciate the reply. I too like watching old pro matches. There’s a lot to be learned from Shota.
cute judge
Why do they call Grixis Delver 4c-delver? Aaargh!

Guild names to describe decks is cringe.
I mean in the game two Shota drew like one non land card including the brainstorm he played so...
I thought Deathrite Shaman was banned.
Ohhhh......Legacy.....got it.
*evil laugh*
Josh didn’t pay one for dismember around 21 minutes
Soon after 19:50 he tapped tropical island. He had one mana in his mana pool until he spent it for dismember.
