  • In this video, Forbes featured instructor Eric Cogorno walks you through what he considers to be hands-down the BEST drill to get your downswing dialed in.
    It's so simple that golfers of all skill levels can do it and immediately feel more comfortable and confident coming into the ball.
    And since it doesn't require a lot of rotation or swinging harder, it's great for older players and players who have injury issues... who are looking to compress the ball and make solid contact more times than not.

    Eric - you give us (struggling golfers) the best instruction /delivery of the key ideas better than anybody on UA-cam. Thank you very much for the time, effort and consistently good lessons on the very important parts of the swing.
    LOL "It works if you work it" - from my other best group of friends :) and for sure this works in golf too !!

    Great video as always, one question, would you or some of the followers, use this station, or the repeatable golf swing station for a person on the brink of breaking 90?

      For sure! I would make sure they are getting the club face square/closed consistently first things first....then I would add this in
      similar to this:

    Eric, terrific video. Do you recommend this drill for the driver and 3-metal? Bob

    Hi Eric, great drill, just wondering would the alignment stick effect the takeaway, when we are told to keep the club head outside the hands on the takeaway, for me I would feel I’d collide with the stick on the takeaway.. regards

    • @GiovanniLorenziMoroder
      @GiovanniLorenziMoroder 8 місяців тому +1

      same here, I’d like to stay a little bit more outside with the takeaway (my tendency is the opposite).

      Yeah good question Stephen....
      Part of how its setup has that in mind so if you do it like I did you should be OK......because its high enough off the ground for far enough back that you still have space

      When using our longer clubs, including driver, does the alignment stick need to be over the ball as well? I find myself hitting the bucket a little bit on my takeaway.

    So, is this drill better than your 10-4 drill. Should i add a stick to the 10 o clock to combine the drills?

    • @PerformanceGolfZone
      @PerformanceGolfZone  5 місяців тому

      Hey Matt~ I like both of them about the same :) Some players like one better than the other....worth a test!!

    Nick, what about divots? My divots consistently point left of my target…generally 20-30 degrees left…Any advice?

    • @PerformanceGolfZone
      @PerformanceGolfZone  8 місяців тому

      Yes for sure....more of this drill to get divots back to more straight :)

    I struggle taking a divot. Everytime I time and come from the inside I shank it. Help. Help
