The French coachbuilders before the second world war were designing streamlined avant-garde coachbuilding art second to none. Vanvooren was associated with Hispano-Suisse more than RR. So, its no suprise that RR went to France to have the very fast Bentley Corniche designed, just before the second WW, by a Frenchman Georges Paulin. Poor Paulin was betrayed during the second world war, as he worked under-cover for MI6 and was shot. So, among these notable artists were so very brave men.

Nice car. But is it driven. The bloke that owns the building I work out of has a 1932 RR. Drives it around Europe on a month long holiday. HE has had it for at lest 55 year's( his dad gave him some cash when he came out of his apprenticeship to buy a car he had a choice of a mini van a Morris minor van or the RR) He is the third owner, first owned by Elizabeth Arden hence the colour, pink and grey. Oh im in the UK.

Ah I know what that need's! Here are 3 good choices 1. A Meteor V12: Tank engine, a detuned Merlin V12 600hp. 2. A Merlin V12: Aircraft engine, used in the Spitfire, Hurricane, P-51, Lancaster, god what else! About 1,600hp in later models. 3. A Griffin V12: A bigger version of the Merlin, 2,000hp or there abouts! I think those would be a good fit for this car! lol..... Only top fuels need 2k hp!
I have been coming back to this video for years, very beautiful car. Cool to see it start up too. Thanks Lou.

Where would you find these engines ?
So I gather that the general public, or working class, aren't allowed in.
Hi austin1839, I'm working class and they let me in... Lou
