Could u pls upload the tips for sec 3 and 1. Please i cant financially get med entry at the moment. It would rrly help. Even if its ur old notes. Pleaseee. Thank you so much
hey, you've included handy discount codes for the MedEntry packages, but I can't avail of them unless I have the actual discount codes :( would appreciate your help!
Hi! They're affiliate links so you just click on them and they should bring you to MedEntry, with the selected package in your cart and the discount applied! Let me know if you need anything else
@@LifeofAnnaLou is it possible to apply it to a group Platinum package? this is at a reduced price when you apply with another person, but I was wondering if your discount would work for this as well. When I click the affiliate link, it automatically brings me to the full price platinum package ... Xx
People usually ask whether it’s too late to study ,but I’m currently in 5th year (so I would be sitting the hpat this time next year )and I want to pursue medicine so is it too early to start studying?
It is never too early to start studying. The earlier the better haha. Even in 1st year if they start studying then. They'd be used to the layout and the timing and the questions left right and centre. They'd ace the exam. The earlier, the better
I never got amazing results - this is because medentry makes exams tend to be on the hard side. You will also notice your percentile will probably go down as you get closer to the test date. This is because the percentile is a score compared to everyone else doing medentry (they test to be the best prepared from all people sitting the hpat) don’t compare yourself, use the actual points to see if you’re improving and practice practice practice!
Haha I'm doing my hpat too and I only started studying today (february 5th) As long as you have an understanding, no matter what time u start studying, you'll be grand
@@kimmielizabeth1474 thank u for letting me know, well unfortunately I decided not to take it😓 u know I'm doing ib and our mock exams are coming soon(before the actual exams) and I thought I wouldn't have enough time to prepare for the hpat! Let me know how it goes for u, hope u pass and get the score u want! I'm cheering for u 😆💪 I will try next year!
@@jamiebrowne5720 Uuhhhhh... I kinda started studying 3 hours before the exam 😅 I have a real severe problem with procrastination and mental shit so i kinda forgot about it until the last moment 😂 My grades are good but the hpat is only the problem. I'm gonna get a therapist to help with my problem and I'm getting an appointment for ADHD. But in my experience, I'm good at section 2 and 3. So i only studied section 1 and bits of 2 and 3 before the exam. I got alot of information into my head by then. But I didn't get the whole section revised. I did good but I didn't do up to my standards and I'm disappointed at myself for not pre-prepping. I didn't get my results back yet. For me, I'd recommend starting the earliest time you can start. This way, you can do practice hpats. Practice hpat tests are what's extremely effective for me since I'm like "oh! I know this pattern" and it's easier to recognize each question. Even if you started 2-1 month prior the hpat exam, as long as you practice questions for about 30mins-1 hour a day, I'm sure you'll pass the exam with flying colours. I got alot of patterns into my head with only 3 hours of study. So imagine if i studied 1-2 months prior. I'd definitely be ready. This is just what I'd do anyways next time if i have to repeat again. I'm not sure if the same will apply to you but I'm going to tell you my experience anyways
@@kimmielizabeth1474 thats wrong! Some questions are weighted more than other depending on how many people get certain questions right in the HPAT. It's not as straightforward as that!

I’m sorry I don’t have any notes at all from the hpat. There is a hardship fund and you can email medentry and they will accommodate you.

I don’t think so! I messaged medentry this morning to ask though but I know multiple discounts don’t usually work. I’m so sorry!
Loved the video, I’m in third year so the hpat may change but hey why not be prepared. Either way I love your videos:).
That’s right! Always good to know ! Best of luck with everything
The earliest you should prepare for the HPAT is summer of 5th year, don't make the mistake of starting too early, you'll burn out.
Thank you Anna for the video. I'm just wondering did you attend a course for the Hpat? If yes can you please tell me the name of the course?
I did the medentry platinum course - I have a playlist called hpat that explains it all! I also have a discount code for them

Don’t know it sorry!

Is it too late if i start preparing from feb 1?
It depends on the person and your past experience with tests like these! I’m sorry but I can’t answer that for you!

@@LifeofAnnaLou would u say the 2 day workshop was good and worth it
I did some practice tests and I keep getting around 80-85/110. Is this a good enough score? I don't know how they convert the marks to out of 300
82.5/110x300= 225
Do you think that's good enough?
@@kimmielizabeth1474 is that the way they convert it? Cause if thats the case im happy 😂
