@@grafen3teiner you are right! So sorry, I generally use it after the amp and cab section right now: when I cut the low mids with the eq, maybe then I need to recover and to saturate a bit of that mids, so I use the default "warm tape" saturation, only on the mids, with a variable amount (play with the mix knob).
Hey man, awesome video and awesome tracks too! I like how you approach combining thall and more electronic music It would be great if you could also show the clean tone, sounds sick!
Ciao! Grazie a te! Uso sempre il fortin cali suite, che ha anche l'amp pulito. Il pedale del delay e del reverb sono ottimi e riesco a tirarci fuori i suoni ambient!
Long time ago I used bias amp, and bias fx, but Fortin cali changed my life. Of course other plugins of neural dsp are good too. I tryed ml sound lab amps, but I found them not as good as the Fortin cali suite. Thanks for the comment.
@@Seth_thall Yeah, Neural does good stuff, I liked the Tosin Abasi one a lot for low tuned stuff and Nolly sounds really good too. Gojira is good for a lot of stuff, maybe not as good for super tight low stuff. I guess i need to try Cali too :D Keep up the good work man, your music sounds good, keep em coming and people will notice!
@@a.k2156 what pickups do you have? Cause I found that Fortin cali sound really good on active pickups, try it, is a wonderful plugin! Thanks for the compliments on my music! >3
@@Seth_thall I have passive pickups, on Ibanez their own brand and on my Harley Benton some cheap noisy ones :D With some eq and other stuff they both sound ok. I did a little test few months back actually. Borrowed a Schecter 7 string with emg active pickups from my buddy and recorder same song with that and my Harley Benton. After eq and post process you could barely hear the difference. Emg needed a lot less work tough :D I´m waiting on my first 8 string to arrive next week and that will have Fishman fluences in it, cant wait!
I found it really comfort, I love the neck and the frets. Fishman fluence modern pickups are really good, love it in both clean and distorted tones. The guitar is really light and balanced, really versatile, good locking tuneers for the stability of the tuning.
Great video. I was impressed by the stereo and depth of the guitars even though they were only double tracked.
Thanks a lot! I always do only double tracks.
So thall. I love that tone. I don't know how you get it so clear yet heavy
Thank you so much! I think good pickups are the key, and right balance between gain and noise gate, don't push so hard on the gain knob in general.
Nice idea for the multi band compressor thank you!
I'm glad to help!!
Hi Seth, you don't talk about the Fab Filter Saturn 2 in the guitar track. Whats the settings? Thx !!

How would you go about using this tone live?
I'm getting a similar tone with my Helix stomp line 6 pedalboard
If you want a cheap fortin 33/grind alternative, there is the demonfx 66 or dualboost.
Hi, one question what software are you using to mix and record? Pls greetings from Peru
Thanks!! I use Cubase for everything
Hey im new on your channel and i just wanna ask what software/DAW you use on the video??

I noticed you use EZBass! You should totally consider using one of Submission Audio’s virtual basses. They’re perfect for thall.
Sometimes, now I bought Nuclear bass from impact studios, thanks for the suggestion.
I use Eurobass too, from submission
I love this, so amazing, im inspired ✨️, what's the name of the guitarr?
Thank you so much! It is a Legator Ninja FX7

Hi. What drum do you use?
Hi! I use the matt halpern signature drum library on kontakt
The low tuned snare sounds perfect in my opinion
Thank you so much
@@AmyrAbadawn thanks to you

Focus rite scarlet solo!
great tone bro! If you could to show another instruments processing (drums, bass) which you mixed - it will be awesome! Subscribe
