This is absolute prime version of both the players. Especially yihan wang in her prime was a force to reckon with.... but I feel back then game was not as fast as it is today.
I would say saina peaked a little later after this match. Wang yihan was definitely near her prime around this time
@@therandomactivist1124 saina's prime was 2010 to 2015. In 2013 before moving to padukon academy she was out of form for 7-8 month. Her most dominant period was 2014-15 that time only 4 players were in scene marin saina li xr and shixian . Especially saina marin rivalry was on top with lil edge to marin.
@@pratisthakaushik737 if u watch Marins interview to All England Open channel, she has acknowledged that her coach and she learned a lot from Saina's style of playing. The big credit of playing style of Marin is owed to Sains Nehwal style because in that Chinese dominant era, Fernando Rivas thought copying Chinese style would not produce a great athelete in Marin. Saina is truly a legend for many reasons.

Marin is a speed and smash player totally aggressive. Saina is a rally player with great endurance and stamina.
Saina is a legend but whether you hate her or love her u have to admit that Marin is a better player. She achieved a lot more than saina sindhu. Even if u add both Saina Sindhu then also edge will go to Marin.
Saina still had better facilities but Marin is a Champion without peer.
