    Nice area, very clean and orderly. We need to introduce rural development classes on compressed earth houses, planting, and utilization of bamboo as a replacement for wood, fencing and alternative food source.

      @JamesMuganda  3 роки тому +1

      I would say, Masoro is a small township in the Chisina ward. And then Chisina ward is in the Gokwe South district. However a google search classifies Masoro as a hill (meaning one of the Mapfungautsi plateau). I will search more on how to classify Masoro and get back to you. And of course if you know more, I stand to be corrected!
      Thanks a lot for your comment. From the Nembudziya growth point, I am 100 km shy away. I will be filming the areas of Nemangwe, Nembudziya, and the like in December. Raymond Chikuku, exactly my impression too. I saw a body of water and thought that one could develop a resort of some sort and attract international tourists ( including from across the continent) and create job opportunities and add to economic development of the area. One could develop a business plan/ proposal and approach international angel investors or venture capitalists. Just imagine if just 500k ir 1million people in each African country adopted this developmental and entrepreneurial mentality and employed just 10 to 20 people. Soon 10 to 20 million people would be employed they and their dependents would have a monthly livelihood. We would impact lives and make our contributions to developing our economies and making our countries great. J6st imagine where our countries and Africa would be 10, 20 or 30 years from now. Let's never underestimate the contributions that employing just 5 or 10 people makes. As individuals it may seem insignificant but collectively we have immense potential to develop our economies and change the narrative of Africa.

      @@AAED-NPO Wow, what an amazing insight! And my apologies for late response, been swamped up in work. Wow, i really enjoyed reading your comment. AND I TOTALLY AGREE WITH EVERYTHING YOU HAVE SAID. One remark though, is that the internationals (or rather the venture capitalists) don't know what Zimbabwe is because of how Zimbabwe has been performing in tge previous years. Also, the media mighy have portrayed Zimbabwe otherwise. So we, collectively as Zimbabweans should spread the word that we are open for business again! Thats this is what we have and this is what we need from you!.... thanks again for your beautiful insight. I learned a lot from it!

    Hi friend..any registration with your filming drone? Any idea on the actual requirements? When you brought one to Zim? I have a friend of mine in the country who has a drone but I have no idea on how it's done...do you register before coming in or??

    • @JamesMuganda
      @JamesMuganda  2 роки тому

      The procedure is to register your drone with the Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe by sending an email to them and requesting the drone paper you need to fill in. The other option is just to fill in the paper (you can find it online) and then you send it to the aviation authority. Thats it.

    • @JamesMuganda

      To enter Zimbabwe with a drone you must apply to the CAAZ at least 30 days prior to your arrival date with the following information:
      Name and address of the drone owner
      Model, serial number, and manufacturer of the drone
      Weight and specs for the drone
      Country where the drone is already registered, if applicable
      What the drone will be used for in Zimbabwe
      Planned length for the planned temporary import
      Flight plan details
      After receiving approval from the CAAZ, foreigners also need to obtain a Temporary Import Permit (TIP) from the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority.
      If you’d like to contact the CAAZ directly before you travel with any questions you might have, here is their contact information:ais@caaz.co.zw / +263 4 585 073

So I went and used my drone, of course I had the papers where my drone is registered with me, I also had the form I had filled in that I was supposed to send to CAAZ once they responded.... I think if they are flying for recreational purposes that shouldnt be an issue, the Zimbabwean airspace is not really crowded. Just don't fly close to government buildings.

      Hi Wagid, my sincere apologies for late response. I dont know how it happened that I forgot to respond your message. Yes I registered my drone in Zimbabwe although I didnt have to. Then I was flying commercially but now I am flying recreationally. For recreational purposes you dont need to register it. I hope I have answered you.

    It's weird that you're using Western music over and yet you say you can't play local music coz of copyright issues 🤔 I wonder what that means? Otherwise it's a good documentary

    • @JamesMuganda
      @JamesMuganda  3 роки тому +2

      What it means is this. Think of all the music you have listened to. Someone produced that music, right? They are the owners of their music and you cannot use it unless you get permission from them, something that is called a license.
      So suppose I use their music without their permission, the UA-cam algorithm detects it and flags it as a violation of the music owner's rights. To the channel it comes as a Copyright strike, and trust me, thats the worst thing any youtuber can expect. Because your channel can even be deleted.
      However there are other musicians who make their music and allow everybody to use it (sometimes the condition is you have to give credit to the owner in the description section). The likes of the music in this video and for the rest of other video on our channel just as an example.
      So now think of all the local musicians you know, they are trying to make a living out of their music, so you cannot just take their music and use it without first paying them for the license. Since at FlyDriveWalkCycle we don't advertise (hence we don't generate any income), we preferred to go the cost effective way and find free music.
      I hope I have shed more light. My encouragement to our local artists is that they make copyright free music and them we can market their music by giving them credit and making them known to the rest of the world.
      For more information on copyright issues visit this link support.google.com/youtube/answer/2814000?hl=en

      Thanks for your comment. Oh yeah about the music we totally understand if you didn't like it. We understand everyone has their own taste of music and as such we cannot make everyone happy. One option would to be to use local Zimbabwean music but there is not much copyright-free in Zimbabwe. We hope you understand that we cannot just use any type of music. If you read other comments of this video, we explain about copyrights of music and why we can't just any music. We would like to really encourage our local musicians to make at least some of their music non-copyrighted so we can promote them.

      - respect people's privacy
      - don't fly higher than 120 m,
      - don't fly near airports, military bases and government building

      @@Augfordpdoggie oh that's quiet some time! And I am happy that you still remember your time in Africa and in Zimbabwe specifically. I really would like to learn more about your experiences. As for Africans being westernized, I think it's the world we are in right now. Clothes are western (otherwise we still will be wearing animal skins), phones are western (otherwise we still would be sounding horns). There is a thin line between being westernized and moving on with the world. I live in the Netherlands, I learned a lot from Europe which I think would benefit the African community if I share with them. But while there in Europe, I see many women working on their tan, which is purely African. I go to a club in Amsterdam and they are playing African music. Shall we say Westerners have been Southernized?
