J. S. Bach: Arioso BWV 156 Classical guitar played by Per-Olov Kindgren

- This is my arrangement of Bach's beautiful and famous piece, ARIOSO from BWV 156. This is also named '"Ich steh mit einem Fuss im Grabe." (English: " I stand with one foot in the grave".
Original key is F-Major but I transposed it to A-Major to make it easier to play on the guitar. The ending in not always heard (for unknown reasons) but this is the original ending.
Original instruments: Oboe, Strings and Basso Continuo
My 3rd CD is called "AIR" where I play music by: Dowland, Galilei, Weiss, Bach, Handel, Albinoni and Pachelbel. All, popular classical pieces that I have been asked to record on a CD.

Nice job Per-Olov! There is a very famous version of this piece by Flavio Venturini, from Brazil, called “Céu de Santo Amaro”, w/ lyrics. !

In Brazil has a soap opera from 2004 that has arioso cantata 156 with guitar in her soundtrack (but it's not disponible) so is really good to came here and hear.
