Stunning! I would get some nature color tags (tan or green) and attach them to each orchid to remember name. That way I could hide it under the Spanish moss. You're better at remembering names then me though 😊
I’m a little late watching this but your garden is so very pretty. Thripes, yes, they are a pain. Some are first time blooming and thripes, do you spray the leaves to or just root area. I’m going after them today. Didn’t know sail cloths had some that the water doesn’t get through. Thanks for the beautiful tour.
Your garden and yard are always beautiful! I live in Atlantic Beach in NE Florida and my yard is tiny. Not enough palm trees to mount orchids on but I'm gonna put some of my nobiles on the few I have. I had to take all the Spanish moss off my Vandas as I couldn't treat and spray for thrips. It wasn't getting through the moss. Something you might want to think about. Spanish moss is an air plant like those cute ones they sell hanging in dried sea urchins at the hardware stores.
I just got an expensive Phaius given to me because a heatwave cooked a Sobralia Panamensis I purchased and they hadn't been posted to me yet..... Your Phaius looks great, I'm going to use peat moss, sphagnum, clay balls, some gum twigs and stones and a little bit of river sand to make it sort of swampy..... In a clay pot for indoors, the Cockatoos test munch everything that goes on the balcony🤔☝️😄🎁😊

Your Nobile are to die for👏👏👏 And I am so jealous of your Grammatophyllums which have spikes. Mine got so cold this winter that nothing is happening 😩. Tan (sp?) at Spring Water told me that they probably were not dead but it looks like it’s going to take them some time before/if they ever bounce back🤞🏻😍
