I went to The orchid Place in Heathcote nsw early this year to buy one cymbidium orchid , but when I saw the enormous display and the variety of Cymbidium orchids I was mesmerized by the different shapes, colours and sizes not to mention the affordable prices, and the cordiality of Barbra who even help me packing into my vehicle. Also they sold me sacks of bark (proper medium to grow more orchids) plus slow release fertilizer , she's got the lot to help our enthusiasm
Such a wonderful story, thank you. Orchids are my FAVORITE PLANT GENUS. I have 60 in my plant collection right now and cannot wait to buy more!! I hope you will spotlight more orchids on your channel!!
I need to live up to my name. Came here to learn as much as I can about this gorgeous plant. People have compared me to the flower as well due to them needing a lot of care.
Finally something on orchids. What I’m interested in is the very best medium to grow each different variety of orchids, per the environment, it grown!!? Thoroughly enjoyed this segment cheers. 💋❣️
I know it’s meant to be grown in bark for good drainage but I grow mine in soil and perlite and I notice it grew more flowers. I only did that to experience it.
My plant had bark rot I threw it away and put bark from the paulownia tree, which is a very beautiful and wonderful bark Is this good for the plant? Question 2: Does the plant live in water??!!!
My old leaves are going brown, but there are new leaves forming all the time. Where I had them before they used to flower, outside under a tree, but since I have moved, I have them near a window of the atrium, where they don't get direct sun. I have had them for four years and they haven't flowered yet? I would very much appreciate some advise please. After the leave started to turn brown I started to leave the window open, however the leaves are still turning brown.
Hi maybe you can help me I have three pots cymbidium when does the new flowers like to inches bigger, try and die I just like to know what is happening what can I do? if you answer I’ll be appreciated thank you. I am in Melbourne

I too am interested in the very best medium to grow each of the 28,000 species of orchid. But alas we have not yet been graced with such wisdom.

Cymbidiums grow in some parts of Queensland.

I have subtitles turned on, but there aren't any! That means I'm only catching a few words per sentence.
I see you've basically included all the text of the video in the description. Thanks very much.
