- Comparison of Analogman Sunface pedals and Killing Floor Axis Fuzz with Tweed Deluxe amp.
Fuzz pedals (in video order): RCA, NKT Red Dot, BC183, 2N, BART, Astrotone, Axis Fuzz
Fuzz knobs are in max level. Only BC183 fuzz level is backed a little bit to remove high hiss and shrill sound. Volume levels are set to get same sound levels. Biases are about 13:00.
Axis Fuzz has Hitachi 2sa15 Germanium transistors.
Used equipment:
Haar Guitars 60s Telecaster with Kloppmann BC49 pickups
Tweed Deluxe Amp Settings, Volume Bright 4 - Volume Normal 4 - Treble Max,
Speaker: Jensen C12R
Fryette Power Station to reduce the sound level
Mics = Sennheiser E 906, Shure SM57
Besides the NKT, the Astrotone really surprised me! Great collection btw
Thanks for this! I have a BC183 and think I'm going to get a BART too.
Great comparison. Which gain level transistor is the RCA? Low or Higher? It sounds like it's less boomy and maybe more raw sounding.
and do you find the RCA noise level better or worse than others?

Before anyone else sees this and comments... YOU LUCKY B*STARD!!
Sold many of them and bought guitar 😀
@@lkaydihan I'm thinking of a BART!
@@3rdtonefromthesun me too...I want an NKT but not for like $1000...lol. Personally, I'd say the NKT sounds the best but only slightly over the BART & RCA. The Axis Fuzz sounds great too, but takes up waay too much space for my pedalboard. I'm currently torn between going for a BART or one of the NOS RCAs Analog Man appears to have right now.
what gain is the bart?
That Bart was normal gain
