Thank you so much for this fantastic idea with zero added cost! I just purchased the game with the expansions, and I'm all about maximizing my game storage and reducing visual clutter!😊
Found this video shortly after you posted it, but hesitated to actually do this because I was nervous about screwing up the insert cutting. I finally caved it today, and I was pleasantly surprised at how easily it is to cut through the insert's plastic. Everything goes in so nicely, and I'm stoked at how it turned out. Thanks for the idea!
Went for it yesterday and love how it turned out. I don't yet have Wildlife, but the box for Nightfall was bothering me. Glad I could keep 75% of the beautiful insert and have it all fit in the box.
Thanks for sharing this!! Not sure if this will work on mine since I sleeved my cards but will use what you did as an inspiration to figure something out 😃
Hi ! Thanx for this ! In the end, I just chucked out the entire base game insert because I sleeved the park cards and your solution wasn’t applicable. Also, I play solo so the few unused items went into the Nightfall box. I still keep the expansion boxes just in case I change my mind ... or if another expansion comes along and I end up being stuck 😂. Thanx again 😊
Many, but at a distance. I guess I got what I wanted out of Ares Expedition, it’s hard for me to imagine what more it brings to the table (aside from dice, which I suppose is kinda cool on its own). But it’s def something I want to check out and see for myself.
@@TheCardboardHerald Well I was about to get Ares (thanks to your review), as I have no TM games at this point. But the dice really intrigued me. Interested to see how it compares in strategy and replayability
@@the-Grey-Fool good call. I mean if you like dice it’s probably a solid bet. For what it’s worth I have 14 plays of AE so far and still really enjoy it.
It’s hard to believe publishers still don’t understand the concept of card sleeves. I had to trash this inadequate insert just to fit the base game in its own box, and I’d have to pitch the logs if I wanted to fit expansions. What a waste of plastic due to thoughtless design
If you or someone you know 3D prints, it can be huge for this kind of thing. Got a great replacement tray that holds everything with sleeves and lets me keep Parks and the expansions in one box

I cant stressed enough how grateful I am for this video! It is really awesome thanks! This made me discover your channel! I subscribed! 😊😂
Hey, glad I can be of service! Happy new year and happy gaming from Alaska!

I’m so happy that it worked out for you! I really like making these crafty tip vids. Cheers & happy new year.
Thank you so much! You went above and beyond by showing us this and making a video. Great work!
What a fantastic video! I'd love to see more of this.

Awesome I’m so glad to hear that!
Thank you for this video! I just modified my organizer based on this video!
Awesome, glad it worked out for you! Cheers from Alaska!
Brilliant. Thank you for sharing. We now have a short project for this weekend.
Love it thanks! This may influence me to pull the trigger on the expansions.
You're welcome! As for the expansions, both are good though I think Nightfall is the bigger lift for the game.
+1
But I am screwed with card sleeves.

Hey. Did you find a solution in the end?

Finally did this myself, thanks for the teach!
Glad it worked out, dude!
Finally got around to this.
Now… do you have a solution for Spirit Island?
Thanks man ! Very hepful.
thank you!! I’ll do this too :)
Good luck, I'd love to hear your thoughts when done.
Unsleeved 😢
This is cool. I dig it! Now… what record goes with the rook?
Hopefully they don't add more expansions just to not mess with this solution!
Any thoughts on the new Terraforming Mars Dice game? :)
And this video was great. So glad to minimize

i had to give up on this strategy cuz i sleeved all my cards
Perhaps one day the BG industry will realize good organization in vital. (CoughsArnak…)
So in summary remove the top half of the insert, the one without the camera part. Got it
Now shake it and store it vertical and show how it holds up.

I just left it with the lid sitting up higher than it should. It's kinda sloppy but... Meh, I haven't come up with a better solution yet.

Mandy thanks Form the Sonderfall and practical idea. Best regards Fromm germany 🫶
