I had the same thing happen to me through enterprise car rental in Arizona it two took months to prove I was not at fault it was the person after me that was their is a extra insurance you can get through the rental car company that few people know about it cost a little bit more but is well worth it you have too ask about it or they don't tell you but if anything does happen it goes through their insurance when purchasing this and not your own insurance whitch saves you I recommended this to my son because he rented a car from Vegas to Cali and a guy hit him on the Cali free way the other guy was at fault so he had to pay for damages but without that extra insurance on the rental my son could of been in a world of hurt good think he payed the few extra dollars per day to have the extra coverage and peace of mind I guess now days it would pay to take pictures the whole time you have a rental with before leaving and returning car to back yourself up from this kind of stuff happening when you know you did not cause the damage a hundred percent
