Thanks for making this video on spraying cooking oil onto the snowblower's auger and housing. I used to do this; however, got tired of how it needs to be done every other time. Now I apply few coats of TurtleWax Ceramic Spay every year throughout the entire machine and it is good for the entire season without any dripping or oil collect salt and dirt on the machine.
Ariens suggest WD40 or a good cooking spray. I use a cooking spray here in northern Idaho, that I store inside, and it works great. I don’t like breathing harsh chemicals if I don’t have to and whatever chemicals you spay will transfer to the snow you’re throwing that ultimately melts and seeps into your ground. Most UA-camrs take kickbacks from advertisers so don’t believe the hype.
I had used Pam until i found that there was a griddy residue left over. I had to use mineral spirit to clean off this garbage and I couldn't believe the difference it made as if my snowblower ran like it was brand new. Threw the snow further and no clogs. Never ever will I use Pam👎👎👎👎👎👎
Don't use PAM cooking spray. It cakes up when it gets cold and the cans don't spray very good, as you seen here. Better off using silicone spray. It is way slipperier and just works better.

Dang I'm going to try that! When I clean it for next season. Thanks for the tip. I wanted to see if it actually worked. Kind of a myth buster video
Good to see ya back on the Tube again! Great tips.
I'm glad to make something. It gets quiet here in Michigan during the winter. I know you know about that neighbor!
Love the hat hahaha!
I like the fact that you left the Clearance sticker still on there like a fresh hat. BALLIN’!
Haha this blower is at least 9 years old! I forgot about that! I'm embarrassed
Happy New Year Clint.
Happy new year my friend!
Don't Use PAM On Your Snowblower: Here's Why

I will be looking into this
I used the turtle way ceramic spray for cars on my eGo snowblower. Worked awesome. nothing stuck and snow just flew out the chute.
I think it can help and it all depends on the kind of snow you are blowing as well.
Man, that Troy bilt is a beast! Nice lube job.
It really is! Had to dust it off after always using the Toro. Hope your new year's was good!
Kyle if you’re not skating around your pond this year I am just going to snap!
@@lefttool7928 My daughter and I went skating this morning. It is perfect ice right now!
It's above freezing here. The lake was frozen but now it's flowing🤷♀️
@@lakehouselawncare1755 thumbs up

I like the cooking spray. It worked well for me. I didn't think of the wd40! I'm going to do that this year! Thank you

I didn't notice anything in the spring when i cleaned it. I will look again

Same issue here
let your bucket cool down outside before blowing so the snow wont stick on it
I will try this. Thank you
Is it Pann, Pand? Pamm with two M’s?
Lol. I prefer the Kirkland costco brand🤣
@@TheNeighborDominator if Kirkland doesn’t have it, you don’t need it.
The mice like it
