I have the back of my gmc yukon xl looking like Wal-Mart lol with 3 rows of 9 drawers of see thru food and supplies for up to a month . Great to be organized

Personal water bottles or gallon jugs? I make a lot of coffee on my camp stove 😊 but we drink a lot of water, personal bottles are great to make flavored water with the singles 💪🏻💪🏻👍🏻👍🏻⛺⛺💯💯🔥

I also use multiples of a similar bin ( Plano Sportsman). Now I will have to get another one for packing out the #2! Great idea. Maybe with a little more organization I can free up one I already have?

Good video. I love me some good organization! I've been utilizing similar bins for a while (albeit, smaller, since I have a 4Runner rather than a Suburban). I've found a new style of bin that I prefer since the lid is domed rather than recessed. It's the Plano Sportsman Trunk. Several sizes are available to fit different vehicles. Another tip is to label your totes with label tape as opposed to writing on them. That way, if the contents change, you can simply peel off the label tape and re-label the tote(s).
Thanks Mudinyeri. I appreciate the positive feedback. And thanks for sharing gear info. One of the reasons I like the recessed lids is they stack really well, limit sliding, and some of my solo items, like my toilet, fit in the lids. I like how the Plano ones look and they appear to be sturdy.
How well do they stack?
@@SuburbanCamping the Plano totes have short-of a shallow "Lego" top and bottom that help them stack somewhat securely. Not quite as securely as the totes you're currently using, though. In addition to the "Lego" tops and bottoms, they have hooks on all four corners that allow you to conveniently attach tie-down straps or bungees.
Another little trick I forgot to mention is that the smaller yellow and black totes fit perfectly inside the Plano 68 qt. totes to "sub-divide" them helping to corral things inside the tote.
I also prefer the organization for everything 👍🏻. Thanks for the upload. The worst part of camping is waking up at two am freezing to death and not having anything to put in the fire pit 😅. Sleeping on the ground, in a bag, in a tent is an adjustment. It makes rushing to buy an RV a priority 😅😂. Your bin suggestion is perfection. The camp stove is the worst for me. Cleaning up and storage. Very awkward and takes up a lot of room. Plus, bringing enough propane bottles is imperative. Restock that BEER 🎉🎉🎉
My two cents: When people pause You Tube to view the campsite coordinates You Tube obstructs the bottom of the screen. Maybe raise the bottom line up a bit. You can make it out though, it is worse on a Fire stick on the big TV screen. Just my two cents.

Hi, I have a question? With all working out, I'm going to be on the road for a couple of months this summer traveling in my 1999 Ford Expedition. I added a level platform with storage underneath the sleeping mattress. On the roof, a plastic wood deck mostly to take photographs from. So not for storage though it can be because my idea is to have all my goodies inside the vehicle. My question? Is it safe to carry a 1-gallon propane cylinder inside the vehicle and what precautions are necessary to do so? I see you have yours on the outside. Thx ---- Great beginnings with your channel :)
Hello Manola. Thanks for the comment, positive feedback and question. I have carried the 1 gallon canisters inside my vehicle in the past, but now I put them up top in my cargo box. I try and follow a "nothing flammable" inside the vehicle guideline, but that is not always practical. I use the 1 gallon canisters as a backup to my 30-gallon tank, which I always carry on the outside. As far as precautions, just make sure the canisters are not leaking - I have had that happen before. You can use soapy water to test for leaks. I bought these bins, but unfortunately they won't fit 3 high in a 2017 Suburban.

I did look into a cargo barrier, but did not locate anything that worked, so I went with a cargo net, which is working well.
@@SuburbanCamping A net is still a barrier, so good on you. I've met people who have lost friends or family in accidents due to unsecured rear cargo. Simple way to minimise that risk is with a barrier. Cheers
