I have most of these ingredients here now . Cold , snowy winter day here so might as well bake . Never thought about using a brownie mix to make cookies . Smart !! I'm baking these today
I'm following along with your video now as I'm making mine. I folded marshmallows into some, carmel on top of some and white chocolate chips into some.
Yummy 😋. Off topic, but I wanted to tell you that I appreciate that when I go to your site to print recipes, the whole recipe fits on one page. Other sites add too much extras so I end up having to cut the extras out. You make it so simple. Thanks 🙏
Made the cookies with the Reese’s- was absolutely fantastic! Making again this weekend with the MnM’s for my grandson. Thank you for sharing this simple yet delicious recipe!!

Catherine, I just watched a bunch of your videos and enjoyed them all! I like the way you explain how you do the recipes-so easy! I especially like your dessert and casserole recipes and will soon start making my first Catherine’s Plate! New subscriber! Thx! Mandy from Tucson🌵
I would love the Reese's PB cup cookies. There are a lot of possiblities with this recipe. PB chips, coconut, mint chips, all kinds of nuts, all different kinds for M&Ms/Kisses/Hugs, butterscotch chips, toffee chips, different kinds of crushed cookies(Oreo's etc), and all kinds of candy bars. The list is endless! Thank you for the recipe and video!
I love powdered sugar ,mini m and ms yummy, lol m and m thief to lol, white chocolate delicious, white chocolate sounds like what I'd want most but with walnuts maybe lol or Reese's can never go wrong they all look delicious, fun pretty sprinkles, those are beautiful ❤️ have a great weekend eat a few for me
I'm very interested in your glass canisters but I can't quite make out the name on them. Any ideas on where I could get some like them? Always enjoy your videos!
Thx again!!! Sour cherries 🍒 Dried fruit & nuts mix Dried Apricots The only candy I have is: York Skittles Ferrero Rocher (coconut, dark chocolate & hazelnut)
Hi Katherine. Greetings from 🇨🇦 🍁 Canada I would try topping the cookies with skor bits ( butterscotch kind of chocolate) Or a half a walnut piece in each center with a bit of raw sugar sprinkled on each one. I wonder how mini marshmallows with tiny coloured sprinkles on each cookie would turn out. Cant wait to try your suggestions. Keep safe. 🍪 🍪 🍪
I have Lava Kisses. So good. You make the brownies, push three kisses point down. When done (oh put them in a muffin pan) turn upside down and sprinkle with powdered sugar. These are called Brownie Lava cakes.
This looks so good. I like the white chocolate chip the best. Your sou chef is eating ingredients behind your back lol. I am with Thomas you don't need a reason why. 😄
I really thought your husband would pick the peanut butter cup! That's my favorite. How about a chocolate covered caramel with a little sea salt sprinkled on? Mmmmm...
I love the caramel and sea salt. Yum. Thanks so much for watching. I thought it would be peanut butter too that he would pick first, but he does like m&ms also. :)
I guess I would try and put some chopped up maraschino cherries maybe some caramel I think both of those would be a pretty good who knows I’ll look for you pecans Yum
You have a cookie play list?!? Really? LOL, yeah I found that list before Christmas, 10 lbs ago. Besides the cake mix cookies, I have made some brownie mix cookies too. After seeing you put the mini peanut butter cup on top, I immediately thought of about a chocolate covered cherry. I just happened to have picked up some today. I'm not sure if they would completely melt down and run all over the pan but I have absolutely no problem eating a cookie with a spoon. And I noticed the peanut butter cups didn't completely melt down but they don't have that creamy filling either. I may try it anyway, for science sake of course. All the flavors look great and worth a try. 😜 I did make brownie cookies before and put a half a tub of the german chocolate cake frosting (with creamy coconut and pecans) and just reduced the liquid I put in the brownie mix. OMG, talk about moist and yummy and those wonderful flavors. They were great. I've read other suggestions about cherries, coconut, nuts and other things and they all sound great. I saw the comment about marshmallow and your hot chocolate poke cake came to mind. 😋 I think the options are unlimited. I can't wait to start experimenting. It's funny, I had run out of cake mixes when I was making cookies before Christmas and am just down to brownie mix. I knew I could count on you to help me use them. 😜
@@CatherinesPlates Trust me, I will be trying it. I left the box of chocolate covered cherries in the kitchen so I can try them and not just open the box and devour them. 🤣 Will report back when I've finished. My mouth is already drooling.
@@CatherinesPlates Well the experiment is complete. I used a box of chocolate covered cherries from Dollar Tree because the box only holds 5. I thought these might work better because theirs don't have as much of the clear liquid part with the cherry. It didn't seem to matter that much because they were a hot mess. Not only did the chocolate covered cherry melt, the center ran across the pan on to other flavored cookies. I'm not saying that was a bad thing because it just added a sticky cherry element to the other cookies in it's path. The actual chocolate covered cherry cookies turned out like cherry lava cookies. After I let it set up for a minute, I was able to pick it up and eat it. They are best served warm. But you have to wash your hands afterwards. 😜 I also thought about adding Rollo's to a cookie but I didn't have any. But of the things I did have, I made white and chocolate chips, M&M's and pecans. After my break and the cleaning of the cookie sheet, I'm going to try walnuts and more of the same as before. Dollar Tree also carried the Andes with the cherry instead of mint that I found for Christmas. Unfortunately I haven't seen them for Valentine's day. I think that would have been a nice addition. I haven't gotten any cherry Kisses but they would work too. I keep thinking of other things to add to these cookies and maybe after a trip to the store I'll have more ideas. I'll keep you posted. 😊
Love the recipe, cookies look delicious, also love the interaction you and your husband have, according to my ex husband I could do nothing right, I guess that is why he is my ex! Lol!

All purpose flour.
