I picked up an air impact stubby off the Mac truck a few weeks ago. So far no complaints. Haven't come across anything that it hasn't broken loose/couldn't reach. Yet.
I remember when Clay said I ain't bought a Ratchet in a week or so. I'm going out on a limb and say if tool truck air hammers didn't have rock star wages for a price tag.. There might a large drawer of long barreled air hammers.
I can vouch for the Mac air hammer. I had a brand new craftsman medium duty and used it to replace ball joints on an 06 silverado (you already know how much of a PITA they are since they are riveted) and I spent almost 6hrs just on the rivets and only got 1 out! I threw the craftsman unit in the trash and had another tech come finish it before I set fire to the truck. Lol! I got the MPH1931 and had a full front end job on a 68 C10. IT WAS FREAKING AWESOME! It had no problems blasting rivets off and running the pickle forks! This thing works it's ass off and keeps coming back for more!
I've sent my snapon air hammer off some many times im usually afraid to use it lop ill have to try and get mac one also I put a regulator on with antifreeze air tool oil to lube up my air tools
The bendable magnets come in handy.I have one which I bought from my local Ace Hardware store.Has paid for itself already using it a lot.Can't have enough magnets.I have a long barrel Matco air hammer that has been good to me,the long barrel air hammers are good for using on suspension work.Don't ever get the Texas Twister air hammer attachment,waste of money.I made that mistake and regret buying the Texas Twister.I always wear hearing protection when I use my air hammer,do this if you want to keep your hearing
How can I contact an easy texas distributor in my town I have only sceen the snap on and the matco trucks I would like to walk on a mac truck for the rbrt tools and to look at other tools for work
The front section of that hammer from the body to the chuck looks identical to the chief hammer you tested earlier. I'm assuming the thing is made in taiwan (no big "Made in the USA" on the box), so what are the chances the components for that mac hammer came out of the same factory the chiefs did. I mean they are both advertising anti-vib tech as well. Not saying one is better than the other, just find it interesting how similar they are besides the body. With the way things are now I wouldn't be surprised.

I own two of them. One does the minor stuff and my matco handles the tough jobs. My co workers know when that joker comes out, I blast on the radio wwe wrestler goldberg's theme song 🤣🤣🤣

I was wondering if he had any of the 3/8” locking comfort grip extension handles. Ive been looking for an 3/8 spinner handle like the old snap on ones that are being made anymore I found that Mac has a version and I’d like the see them besides the stock photos online. The part number I found is sxedla3pt. Hopefully y’all can help me check them out.
I don't know about Mac Daddy Mike. I mean all the tool trucks have loaners for you to try usually. I tried looking up my old Mac air hammer and the number doesn't come up so I guess I had the wrong part number. Anyways the closest I found that looked like it was a AH650. But I tell you what it had a good kick and if you didn't have a good grip then you'd be setting up again. I will say it was made in the USA back then and it did destroy itself just like the MG31/MG325's. I've broken like four or five anvils. It's a beast. That's why I have two incase one breaks. Ask him for a loaner and see if it kicks cause I haven't seen the new one in action. Kinda wondering if it's a rebranded Aircat like their other air tools. I don't hate Aircat. For the cost they hold their own just not a fan of the cheap plastic feel and harsh action with their impacts. I had three. Two 1/2"s and a 3/8". They served their purpose and all three cost just about the same as my MG325 at the time. Hope to see a follow up with the Mac and Matco air hammers.

I found the son of a guns parts breakdown too. I have the 12v dewalt 3/8 impact wrench. And I can not find this one anywhere to see or find a review on. SO now I'm thinking of buying the replacement parts here and seeing if I can rebuild it on my pre-existing 3/8th. By replacing the motor and anvil and anvil housing. parts so far are exactly the same outside of the motor and anvil. DO me this sold my man. You'll get such good telemetry if ya can get this in on the truck. remember. it's not the BWP050 but the BWP050C 12 1/2".
Ya keep saying “Icon” and air hammer, I’m not aware of an Icon branded air hammer from Harbor Freight. Are you talking about the brand “Chief” from Harbor Freight which is their “premium” air tool brand? They do of course have a Chief branded air hammer and it looks nice.

Harbor Freight had some tools they dropped or put on the back burner when COVID hit so I thought there was an Icon air hammer that got shelved or something 🤓 BTW: I bought the Chief angled die grinder when EVERY “Central Pneumatic” angled die grinder in the box at my Harbor Freight (Reno Nevada) was defective.. The manager knocked the price down a bit for me since I kept returning the other one and they were ALL defective..

Not everybody is camera friendly and Michael is a cool guy, he’s much more talkative off camera than he is on and that’s cool with me whatever he’s comfortable with. The Mac hammer bits work with any quick change chuck's. I have a couple of them they work great with lots of control.
