This game becomes INSANELY harder if you play NG+ without an internet connection. I am not talking about co-op. I am talking about revenants. Hey guys is there any setting for last checkpoint game start after death at the save point and it's so irritating to kill again and again all the creatures
im seriously bout to quit cuz im sick of the no tutorial and not knowing wtf to put points in. what kind of moron developer spends years making a badass game, then doesnt tell anyone how to play it? would have been pissed if i paid for this thing. runs like crap on my gaming laptop too. GREAT VIDEO THOUGH AS ALWAYS!!! :) thank you RPGD
set my alarm clock, bought and installed the game and streamed it for 5 hours. after 5 hours only reached the first real boss on the boat. And he kicked my ass. Loved it. Can't use my special door strategies in this game though. Therefore its an 8/10 and not a 10/10 hehe. Made my way through the content relatively easy, but the boss just 2 shots me. Weird seeing youtube vids with people barely losing health when fighting that big guy. So saying don't worry too much about builds...not so sure. You need tons of health and enough Ki to perform sufficient amount of combo's+reserves for movement. The rest is less important early on. You mentioned that spear is the best starting weapon. And it is, but you gravitate towards it so naturally it isn't really worth giving it a special mention imo. Next to that I use the sickle on a string weapon. And holy shit that does a lot of damage, but is also high risk vs reward. Loving it. Especially if you put 1 point in spirit to unlock some fire or water talismans to enhance the weapons. Or grab poison coating through other stuff. You can stack some nice effects and damage. The red swords in the ground are people who died. Instead of Darksouls ghosts you can actually fight the killed character of other people. Was fun the first few times, but now I just ignore them unless they have purple items that might drop. I barely bother with changing stances. It is more mid or high stance. Do some swings with my weapons and see how fast/smooth they are. And in which circumstances they are usefull. So 1 melee weapon I like to set my spear for poking and narrow fast attacks in small hallways. And the string with scythe for AoE in mid stance, or prepare high stance + poison for Yoki's. Those bastards need to die fast hehe. Sneak attacks/stealth...funny...enemies already don't see you when in line of sight. They're so weird :D Can you have 2 playthroughs/profiles btw? So I can play 1 on stream and another offline? I didn't see that option. So far loving the game. Trash seems easier then dark souls. Bosses seem simpler in attack patterns, but hit like friggin trucks on steroids :O
Ah mate youll see im right about this stuff. You need more Ki for high and mid stance attacks and Kusa is stamina hungry. Thats why i said spread points early so that you can wear different types of gear and buff your character overall (Heart gives more Ki, Body gives most HP, stamina increases equipment carry weight limit...). You need all of it early on. Spear mid stance poke requires little stamina, does solid damage, is fast and has great range. Thats why its so great and when some skills are unlocked thats when it becomes just stupid unless they nerfed it in the meantime. Stance changing becomes more important the further you get. Yes, you can have as many playthroughs as you want but need to start new game. Then game will save in a different slot. At least that is the way on PS4. There should be an option to play offline under System settings as well. Actually door choke point strategy is viable haha. You might like it. Not as good as your DOS 2 door tactic but still... Enjoy the game, it is awesome.
I like Grim Dawn (which is strange cause i dont like diabloesque games) just no time to play it. Gonna use your builds if i get the chance to play it again. You know your stuff definitely.
my builds are...uhm....not the ones on the channel rofl :P those are outdated. could give you others. As playtester i should know a little about it at least ;)
I can disagree immediately with you if you say its a great game heh. Dont even have to play it to know its not great at all. Im glad youre enjoying it though, mate. I was gonna do Elex but just no time. Currently focusing on Nioh and DOS 2. I was already barely managing DOS 2 and now its even tougher. Cant wait for a break tbh.

As someone who's close to finishing NG with over 100 hours in the game, DLC included, this is a really nice list. Some of this I only realized 50+ hours in. Lul I would've mentioned the badger mimics, too.
You mean my voice sounded different? Might be due to fatigue. Working long hours on every game and it accumulates to the point i just want to be done with it all as soon as possible.
This game is fuckin hard. Even more than Dark souls at some points. The First Boss fuck me up big time... I didnt knew the eyed Wall thing. Will Try it
Don't ever put on armor in games like Nioh or Souls games. I've platinumed every single one and armor was never something I cared about. I put on the lightest cloths and move quickly.

I understand that fully, but a PC port not having mouse support is downright stupid. Also, i finished all the Dark souls game on mouse and keyboard and personally, i feel very handicapped using a controller. I even finished Nier-automata with M&K and we all know just how badly it's M&K support was, lol
Controllers work wonderfull. I finished DS3 with m/kb (didn't had controller back then) and controller is just way better for these kinds of games. A controller doesn't have to be expensive, also you will get better using a controller.
There is a guide on youtube to enable mouse support and remap keybinds, works beautifully. My friends did suggest playing with a controller but i find looking around with the right/left stick to be highly unpleasant. I do own a controller, mainly use it for racing games or platformers.
Ive been on the fence with this game lately. Im somewhat intimidated by difficult games and im just not sure about Nioh and bloodborne as well. But i love the action in it.
Game is most intimidating at the start. Later on you can use all these OP builds that will annihilate everything in your path. Same goes for enemies too. They hit really hard on higher difficulties but youll be prepared. I dont want to force you into decision, just giving you a heads up. Dont be ashamed and intimidated of dying. Its part of the learning process.
If you're unsure about these games I'd start with Bloodborne, I couldn't get into dark souls at first but after Bloodborne it hooked me so hard I went and played thru Souls 1-3 afterwards loving every moment. You just have to accept that you're going to die, likely hundreds of times but it's part of the experience and getting better. Nioh is newer(so more expensive) and is more gear based than Bloodborne which is why I think it'll be harder to get into.

I've made it to the 2nd area and I can access the next area, but I don't want to yet... lol, but I've managed to get full Warrior of the West gear including the Bow, and they are at level 73 but if I try to play a hard mission by myself even though I'm overpowered against the NPCs, I still get killed quite a bit, not always by one enemy, but mainly by falling through a hole in the fucking ground or getting ganged up by a mob of enemies. I want to go to the next area and play with some friends instead of playing with randoms at the Toku Bridge or whatever the companion mode is. Are you still playing the game? If so, let me know, my PSN is danimalviking Add me, or give me your PSN and we can link up and go fuck some shit up!
After i finished sekiro, i really struggled to find a better game to enjoy. now i guess i am finally in the right place by starting to play nioh. yess i'm late but who cares
If you need any tips, pls don't message me😂 I suck
I mostly use living weapon against yokai. It makes beating them easier.
can you make a witcher 3 builds???
Brilliant tips, clear presentation and gained a sub from me, This is gonna help me out a lot, keep getting my ass kicked! Thanks!
That was awesome, learned a lot thanks
Spetznaz teaches how to play nioh
Excellent tips, thanks again RPG
Hey guys is there any setting for last checkpoint game start after death at the save point and it's so irritating to kill again and again all the creatures
to beat every boss - sloth + blind + weakens its all you nedd
What's that
im seriously bout to quit cuz im sick of the no tutorial and not knowing wtf to put points in. what kind of moron developer spends years making a badass game, then doesnt tell anyone how to play it? would have been pissed if i paid for this thing. runs like crap on my gaming laptop too. GREAT VIDEO THOUGH AS ALWAYS!!! :) thank you RPGD
Halo bro, I want to ask how to unlock Odachi in Blacksmith? Thank you
Excellent video!
Helped me a lot
7:13 lol
Thanks!!! Very informative video for beginners 👍
set my alarm clock, bought and installed the game and streamed it for 5 hours. after 5 hours only reached the first real boss on the boat.
They're so weird :D
Can you have 2 playthroughs/profiles btw?
You know your stuff definitely.
my builds are...uhm....not the ones on the channel rofl :P
those are outdated. could give you others. As playtester i should know a little about it at least ;)
Playtester? Awesome. If i ever have enough time to get back to it ill definitely ask you for builds.
Hahahah Well played rpgdivision, well played
Edit: Thanks for the video, helped me out a lot
Very helpful video best i seen for this game thanks !
Do you have a low level Axe/heavy armor build?
I have a helmet with a gas valve on it that's a ctually leaking s team the entire time 😂
Awesome upload!
Just started playing this. This shit is fucking amazing.
Hey you bahstahd. I would like to see some content for ELEX from you. It's a great game.
I thought Elex was a good game, too. It had its flaws but was challenging.
Why cant i heal my self
Ill reather make an offer for elixir so i dont have to farm them later
That intro tho, awesome lol
Great video thanks!
Very useful. Many thanks.
Thank you

Love the videos I just bought this game and it's just amazing I was really struggling with to do build wise in this game more so than souls and Bloodborne but your videos are great and really helpful, sub from me
As someone who's close to finishing NG with over 100 hours in the game, DLC included, this is a really nice list. Some of this I only realized 50+ hours in. Lul
I would've mentioned the badger mimics, too.
You didnt sound as fucked up as reviewing the surge, any special reasons 4 that?
You mean my voice sounded different? Might be due to fatigue. Working long hours on every game and it accumulates to the point i just want to be done with it all as soon as possible.
it just seems u had much more fun with nioh. appreciate this, the surge was way too frustrating as nioh in my opinion
No doubt mate. Nioh is much better game overall. Nioh is amazing, Surge isnt.
thanks bro
Everything one-shot you.
Try getting more HP or blocking.
Thank you so much!
Me who's stuck on Derrick the executioner
This game is fuckin hard. Even more than Dark souls at some points. The First Boss fuck me up big time...
I didnt knew the eyed Wall thing. Will Try it
Don't ever put on armor in games like Nioh or Souls games. I've platinumed every single one and armor was never something I cared about. I put on the lightest cloths and move quickly.
Um...........................................................Frogs????? 7:14
In Russia Nioh plays you
Thank you pappa
Thanks, nice vid. Khabib for champ ;)
This helped a lot thanks
Just got this from ps+, watched this vid, still dying
😆

I just started, dying but it feels better dying in Nioh than Bloodborne for some reason. 🤣
Doesn't support mouse :'(
mate, I own this game on PS4 pro and cannot imagine playing it with keyboard + mouse, it simply cant work well without a gamepad
Aamranga buy a controller stop complaining
THANK. YOU. SO. MUCH.
Thx for help
InMaTeofDeath sounds like solid advice, much appreciated.
hahah great intro
Just down loaded this game. Wish me luck
ты спицально такой акцент лютий делаеш?
Lol great start xD
