But apparently Christy doesn’t let Sarah go anywhere without her. She’s homeschooled so she goes everywhere with her and doesn’t feel comfortable letting her go anywhere with anyone else

I know this is old I read a old article from life & style magazine a the headline was like this Sarah & Christy Hunt share dance team tribute to Abby Lee Miller following her cancer diagnosis exclusive It was dated on 4/26/28. Here on the article goes As excepted her fans & loved ones including Sarah Hunt & her mother Christy Hunt are doing whatever they can to support her. The mother daughter duo exclusively opened up to life & style about how Abby Lee dance company elite competition team paid tribute to former instructor at a recent competition. Few sentences later I read in the magazine the girls placed first overall in the teen division under the direction of Miss Abby & Gianna Martello.

Remember when Christy wouldn't let Sarah go to a dance competition, because she wouldn't let her go on the tour bus? I had a mother that wouldn't let me have friends, go to birthday parties, or ride a tour bus without her. I very much dislike her for those things. Good lesson for mum’s. Don’t use your Kids as a means of competition because it’ll be bad for the kids and you’ll end up losing because you’ll ruin opportunities they could have used to become great and get good gigs.
Irrelevant, but I would have loved to see Sarah and Mackenzie do a duet. Both of them were around the same age, they were both amazing acrobats, the were very flexible and they were both lefties. So sad it didn't happen :(
