kinda wish he'd have done a closer recreation of dale's victory donuts in the infield but i'm glad he won, got the camaro zl1 in to victory lane, and more importantly, the number 3 in daytona victory lane
Kind of sucked for Aric but not like anyone would have let off on the final lap at Daytona. Dale has been gone for what feels like a long time now but things like this still bring a tear to my eye. Austin was there in 98 when he won and it would have been cool for Dale to get to see this 20 years later.
not sure if the right place or not, but DW had a great moment during chase's D500 wreck this year. it's the "are you kidding, MEEEE" that i'm talking about. sounds likea great add to a soundboard
1998: The #3 car of Dale Earnhardt won the Daytona 500. 20 YEARS LATER... 2018: The #3 car of Austin Dillon won the Daytona 500. Coincidence? I think NOT!!!
I like how no one is noticing how his burnout made a #3 and that is just epic. Look at his Instagram account. Its one of the coolest things ive seen in NASCAR
Do a "I'm Triggered" soundbite for every time there's been someone who spun/wrecked somebody in history for whatever reason, especially for the fools who hate Austin Dillon now😂
Some of yall older fans could remember watching this on tvs as a child. I feel like this is todays version of the finish fpr the really young fans/ newer fans. Thats my opinion.
Did you do D.W's: "It's the big one gang. It's the big one. It's what we've all been fearing, this kind of racing is gonna happen" from the 2001 Daytona 500 big one yet? If not, could you do that.
I watched the race and I'm truly amazed. Austin Dillon, won but Danica Patrick, retired after she had crashed. What the fuck! You call it quits after one fucking crash? C'mon Danica Patrick... Shoulda stayed in it. To at least finish the race no matter what POS. Your in. 😑
I hate how Fox keeps comparing the two. They're not the same thing. People say "Dale wrecked people all the time for a win." I assume the people that say that weren't alive yet during the one notable time that actually happened (yes i can think of a few more examples, Rusty Wallace at talladega in 93 and Darrel Waltrip at Martunsville in 87) When he wrecked Terry Labonte at bristol, people we're p***** off at Dale. It's not a justification for wrecking somebody for a win.
One worked for it for 20 years. The other one got to racing because his granddad is rich. Was in the cups series for 3 years wrecked someone for the win in the 500.
Say what you will about Austin Dillion, but this was awesome
Sam Mattox
I can agree with that man im not a Dillon fan but i do enjoy seeing that 3 go to victory lane. If Elliott, Larson and Blaney arent able to win.
*Dillon
He's the Lance Stroll of NASCAR - but he's now come of age.
I like how mike joy from 1998 and 2018 Said 20 Year´s of Trying! At the same time
kinda wish he'd have done a closer recreation of dale's victory donuts in the infield but i'm glad he won, got the camaro zl1 in to victory lane, and more importantly, the number 3 in daytona victory lane
I don't know if you saw on social media, but with his donuts in the grass he actually made a giant #3 right there in the infield, its pretty cool.
Bruh the 3 SPUN HIM ON PURPOSE BECAUSE HE WANNA BE A EARNHARDT “WANNABE”
Rob R yeah i noticed that number 3 which was awesome

I watched this with my dad How fucking come me and my dad watched charlotte last year and Austin Dillon won there too
Stop letting your dad watch

I’m trying but it’s fun with family

If only ever man on every postbox lined up to congratulate him
Nah, that would of been too much. The slide through the grass and then saying "this is for Dale Sr and all the #3 fans" was perfect.
Austin Dillon is my favorite!!!!
@ dale would do the same thing turn someone for the win

RIP Dale Earnhardt 🙏🙏🙏🙏
1 like = I pray for the Intimidator #3 driver
You should do a video of crazy NASCAR saves with Mike Joy saying “He saved it” from when Stenhouse Jr saved his car from wrecking in the 500
Amazing video you edited it so good
i can imagine dale SR up in heaven looking down that night in 2018 and smiling.
1998: The #3 car of Dale Earnhardt won the Daytona 500.
20 YEARS LATER...
2018: The #3 car of Austin Dillon won the Daytona 500.

So then what exactly do you think?
Both under Richard Childress Racing
20 YEARS OF TRYING

Just noticed that lol

Great video mate and glad Austin took the 3 back to victory
Speed Makes You Lighter
Fun fact:They are 20 Years Apart and It took Dale 20 Years of trying! :O
Earnhardt and Dillon both made a giant 3 in the grass
It’s really cool that he said “20 years of trying” and the exact same time he did in 1998
if he was alive by that time in 2018 he'd be soo proud of A.dillon rest in peace dale
Dale Earnhardt: “sheds a tear” Long live the #3
Both from NC, finishing laps are similar, yep
Told ya MOM LUCKY PENNIES EXISTS
0:23 look at bobby and jeremy!!
I was happy for Austin Dillion but when he said the whole penny story I was like oh c’mon AD really? Haha
The anniversary is complete nonetheless
He said “20 years of trying” for both races at the exact same time
HOLY S**** THAT 3 DALE WAS WITH HIM THAT DAY😃😃😁 SO HAPPY!!!
In both, it was a #43 driver who crashed.
Bubba Wallace finished second however.
@@ecwfaithful he was talking about Almirola he drove the 43 for the longest time

God every time I see Dillon winning it sends chills
How did I just now find this
Funny thing Austin didn’t know about the penny he just wanted the penny in the car
history repeats itself how amazing 😊
Thankfully it wasn’t so in 2021
I was so happy about Dillons win.

the amount of serotonin right now is ungodly
That 2018 Dillon car is underrated it fire
Mike Joy goes crazy on these moments
Dillon did nothing wrong, slower car was blocking him and he did not lift. A good driver would have hung onto that lead.
Thank you, these salty kids can't accept that Dillon won
When a coin collector races in NASCAR
100% WIN RATE
So Emotional! ;-; So bootiful
Look, I don't care how symbolic this finish was. Considering what we know today, Dillon absolutely did not deserve that win.
Initial D theme whenever someone drift saves their car
Mike joy still is a NASCAR spectator from 20 years he’s kept it running
I know how Almirola feels :(
Rip dale :(
It feels too perfect
I almost cried
You need to do a "And Dale will win at Daytona" from the 2015 coke zero 400
I ❤ Austin Dillon!!!!!!!

I remember this cus with 3 to go I held up the number 3 and didn't put my arm down till the end of the race
I don’t like Austin much, but this was cool
*shows Austin's win* But if you close your eyes...
*shows Dale's win* Does it almost feel like nothing changed at all?
Austin was driving like Dale took over his body.
So i guess this doesn't sound rigged at all
Adam RTR butt hurt your boy brad k doesnt know how to race without taking himself and 5 other cars out???

northern breezee, well I never watched last year's. So thanks for the update on Danica.

Rusty Ralston, calling someone a walnut over a comment? One simple comment. That's really embarrassing.
TheEpicGamerTEG TheEpicGamerTEG She was already planning on retiring.
This year's Daytona 500 should've ended with a close race between Austin Dillon and Aric Almorola
Yeah, it was a scumbag move on Dillon's part, but it's not very different from Dale Sr.
Wow, he just kept driving forward, and got blocked, but he didn't stop, so he won fool
Best race ever
The conspiracy theorists were set off so hard after that race lol
All I hear is 20 20 20 years but good
The #3 has been in nascar since 1984-2001 & 2015-20??

Well, I mean, Dale was popular.
dale did do it better but its sentimental to put the 3 back in victory lane and shows that nascar as a hole still healing
Can't argue on the debate that Austin dumped Aric or if it was just a racing move. It don't matter what you say cause either way Aric still wrecked
Pls Do (take that Penske drivers!)
Daytona is stranger than Truth because Truth has to make more sense.
