You may get ulcer if you fast for long hours and extreme calorie deficit at the same time ,either reduce the fasting hours or increase the calories. Keeping only one thing at extreme will prevent ulcer from my experience.

You can start with 12 or 14 hours also.. First time you eat or drink after fasting is first meal.. So always start with protein rich foods after fasting.. Don't drink anything like milk or juice.. Then don't eat anything, straight go yo second meal with protein and fiber again 🙂
