I tried these last season. Switched from my normal G5 Montec to these, just because I liked the way they looked. Got them sighted in really quickly and sharpened back up. Dropped my buck from 40 yards with no issues. He ran 15 yards and piled up.
I use the montec fixed blade that is very similar to this one that you're testing. I've tried many different mechanical heads and settled on the Montec fixed blade bc I can practice with the actual broadhead that I'm going to shoot while hunting. You can tune your bow perfectly to these broadheads and just give them a quick sharpening on the sanding stone before you go into the woods. This method gives you the greatest possible accuracy in my opinion...
Great review. I know it’s a year old but I just finished trying to tune G5 M3’s unsuccessfully I might add. All 6 heads were all over the place. Ive never had as hard a time as today. Nightmare! I’ll try these muzzy ones next.
I ended up taking the biggest buck of my life with them. The broadhead went through the deer and stuck in the opposite shoulder and the arrow broke off. The head was perfectly fine. Video is on my channel if u wanna see it. They work well. Hope they work for you! Thanks for watching!
2:15 I just wanted to chime in with my weight results for the 125gr Muzzy One's. My three-pack had a 125.0, 125.9, and 126.5. Not as 100% consistent as yours, but they do pretty well.
I bought two packs of Muzzy One and found they are not sharp out of the box... After hours of sharpening on flat stones (3) I got then better but still not cutting paper???? Do they come out of the box dull??? I don't think SS steel will sharpen...
I have shot montec broadheads in the past. It is the same concept and very similar design. The montec also whistled a little when you shot them. I already have made the investment and wirh such close resemblement I don't see a reason to switch
These are a good looking head but I just can't get away from my muzzy 100's. They just work so well. When I saw you with the circular saw I looked away in panic! 🤣
I bought a some. Had to use my chainsaw to get them out. Lol. I really like these broadheads. They look like they will not fall apart if you miss or hit the deer. Like the one's that fold up do.
I'm using a 47# recurve, and these are shooting great for me. My only issue was mine came needing a major sharpening. I was able to run my finger down mine out the pack.
Anybody complaining about noise, is just looking for something to complain about. If you are making good shots, by the time the deer hears and reacts, your arrow should be hitting it.
With the package skill saw opening, I was expecting an added sound, like huge whistle sound from fireworks shooting in the air when you shot the first one, then you saying, "Yah, a little louder I think? Did you notice a difference?"
I am just starting this but can't help but notice how shiny the reflection off all that gel in your hair bro. You are a hunter you can ditch the gel there ain't no chicks watching this shit. U are funny though...how far are u shooting?
They are the dullest broadheads I have ever opened new out of the package. My broadheads all had a low spot on one edge of each blade. They do fly straight!
I really appreciated the extra effort in this review. With the multiple shot angles and the slow-mo. Thank you and good job.
Thank you so much! Appreciate that!

Nice! Yea these did pretty well for me
Absolutely an outstanding review, thank you!
Appreciate that!
I'm a believer in them. Just switched to them this year an smoked my biggest buck ever with a bow.
Awesome! Same for me as well!
Mine shot couple inches to the left, easy adjustment but no up or down issues and seemed to fly good
Yea, not bad. Almost every fixed blad needs some tuning. Thanks for sharing!

I've also used those in the past and there's nothing wrong with those Montec's!
You know, they make the G5 Montec practice heads...same exact heads as the hunting ones, just not sharpened.

Good luck! These flew pretty well for me
did you paper tune out first?
Great video Jasse! Just bought some Black Hornet serrated for this year but might try these next!
🎯
Thanks Ron! How do you like those Hornets?
Hornets are the best and they have a lifetime warranty, get the ser-razor version there deadly
@@fredbear205 Thank you and great name for a bow hunter! Yes I have the serated version and they are great.
Been looking at them I think I'm gonna tryem this year thanks for sharing bud

Good to know, thanks! I haven't tried the 125's but might try em someday soon

Yea, they aren't the sharpest heads out there

Montecs are a good broadhead I feel. Yea same concept. Either works
$44 at Walmart 25 for the broadheads 19 for the indestructible plastic
🤣
These are a good looking head but I just can't get away from my muzzy 100's. They just work so well. When I saw you with the circular saw I looked away in panic! 🤣
Haha, they're ok. Not in love with em
Txs for the great video. Im sold for my centerpoint xt390 xbow.
Awesome, Let me know how they fly out of a xbow
I honestly could not detect much of a difference at all in noise, and I doubt it would make a difference at those distances on a deer
I wouldn't think so either
Good review. If they are half as tough as the packaging. Should get years of use out of them.
That I'm not so sure about. I hope to do more of a durability test later
🤣
Same.
cool broached and great vid!
Thanks!
The Annihilator broadhead is a one piece construction but without the blade cut outs..
I subbed just because of the package opening 😂
Lol. I do appreciate it!
I have these as well, all mine are 100gn too.
Go with the 125 grain version!!!
Nice video Jase, now how about harvesting a nice buck on video with this broadhead!
Thanks bud! I'm failing miserably so far. In Kentucky and Missouri but it was in the mid 90's. Hopefully I can connect in PA!
Thanks for the Vid.......i also subscribed to your channel. Looking forwardto future videos
Appreciate that Mark! Thank you!

Yea they sure know how to pack them! Lol. Lemme know how they work out out for ya. Good luck!
@@JaseOutdoors I sure will.
I couldn’t tell a difference between the broadhead and the field tip. So, idk why folks are complaining.
Yea, tough to tell
Interesting voice man in there
Oh thanks. I have to hire that guy to do that for me. 😉
Hey look, it's the Hunters Roof model!
Hahahahah! Why yes it is. 🤣
Eeke ! They wayyyyyyy to sizzle whistle noise for me
Nice review
Appreciate that!
And I'm pretty sure that the deer won't need any hearing aids after that broad head fliest through both lungs!
🤣 yea really!
Yea, it's definitely a little louder than some but I don't think it's a deal breaker
Didnt seem any louder than the G5s or any other fixed blade. I'm sticking with them because they work.
@@davidayres9865 Good reason!
With the package skill saw opening, I was expecting an added sound, like huge whistle sound from fireworks shooting in the air when you shot the first one, then you saying, "Yah, a little louder I think? Did you notice a difference?"
LOL
1:20, yep, exactly what I was doing.
Soooo noisy! You’re going to hurt the deer’s ears just before you kill it.
Lol, I'm not sure if they're too noisy or not
Good broadheads but they are made in China. Saw it right on the back of the package next to the barcode!
Yep, just like everything else
I am just starting this but can't help but notice how shiny the reflection off all that gel in your hair bro. You are a hunter you can ditch the gel there ain't no chicks watching this shit. U are funny though...how far are u shooting?
Lol. First shot were 20 then back to 30
Any broadhead is louder than a field tip lol not the thorn!
Correct sir... Thorn is pretty quiet and accurate. I like em!
The sound test was a bust. They sounded the same to me.
Yea, I can't really tell a difference
Try at 40 and 50! I can 10 ring a bare shaft at 20yd , 20yrs don’t tell you shit except that ur scared to shoot em at distance is all it tells ya
I don't hear a difference between them
Yea, it's hard to tell
If they offer 125gr my crossbow might enjoy them....
They do make them in 125
Wind plane!!!!!!!
It makes no difference in the noise!
Yea, I didn't really think so. A tad bit louder than a practice tip, but not any louder than any other fixed head
They fly great, but are really dull out of the package. Also, they are loud!
Definitely could use sharpening but I did kill a giant with em.
They are the dullest broadheads I have ever opened new out of the package. My broadheads all had a low spot on one edge of each blade. They do fly straight!
Can't disagree with that
I will be using them because they are easy to sharpen and very durable. I did not know when I bought them that they are made in China.
If you seen my "biggest PA buck I've ever seen" video, that was shot using these heads, so they so work. Heh
Broadhead is much louder.
Much louder than what? Certainly louder than a field point but what broadhead isn't?
