The Magnus Black Hornet Ser Razor 4 blade is what I boiled down to a few years ago. My years of searching for "the one" ended after I started using them. Short/stubby , 1.25" wide, .059 thick, nasty & scary sharp. 7/8" wide bleeders .040 thick which are thicker than the main blades on most other broadheads. They fly perfect. They will do the job every time with no visible damage to the head even after passing through an animal and sticking in the ground.
Almost 3,000 subscribers, I hope you guys get too 3,000,000. Best Archery channel on UA-cam. I may be partial too this channel because it has a hunting focus, with 3D and target as a slightly secondary focus and that's exactly what I do. Still really wanting that Option Archery sight since these guys featured it. I would love too see some setup videos, such as hunting setup, 3D, Target ect... excellent job as always
How about a video on how you would set up an arrow when shooting a mechanical vs fixed blade. Such as fletching configuration. Shooting for distance vs speed. Great videos. Keep them coming !
Grim Reapers are hard to beat. I know i’m late to the party. Their Pro Tip is no joke! I shoot the pro series mini mags. I watched the 1st deer i shot drop with 20yrds. I shot 3 more deer after that. I watched them all drop besides the last one. She ran over a hill and flopped. Awesome video!!
New subscriber here. Just found your channel recently and I feel as though I've been missing out. Thank you for all of the effort and time you put into your videos. Your channel is right up there with Nock On and Chris Bee. Hope you continue to grow!
Heard some good things about the valkerie fixed blades on the gritty bowman pod cast but there's not really many video reviews on them, thankyou for the effort you put into these videos, as a new archer it has helped me a lot
my personal experience with the new Rage hypodermic NC is one that didn't open on impact with soft tissue, and left absolutely no blood trail even at the point of impact. One that when the blades open the end of the blade that sticks out to catch the hide will nick the blade on the opposite side, and if making contact with a bone or rib shears the blades off. Also have tried the NAP Killzone and stopped using them because the deer hair was jamming between the blade and the notch the sticks out to open the blades on contact, which prevented the blades from sliding back to hold the blades open. Shot two deer in two different seasons and both failed due to the same failure. You could manually open the blades but they wouldn't stay open since you couldn't even force the slide to move to hold the blades open. Both resulted in no blade trail further than about 10 yards from point of impact. Both arrows when recovered looked like they had been wiped clean of blood.
I've heard really good things about the magnus black hornet ser razor. Those might be my hunting heads this year. The slick trick wicked trick looks pretty nice too.
Of all the slick tricks, the Viper tricks are the best imo. For Magnus, I have had great luck with them all, but particularly love the black hornet ser rzrs. With the 2 bleeder blades as well, the blood trails are crazy, the accuracy is amazing, and the durability is on par with any other broadhead I've ever shot. Shot a rabbit this last year with some slick trick standards and broke the blades off when it went into the ground, ferrel was fine though :) I was bummed I didn't have my magnus on though I wouldn't have to be buying blades lol. But tbh, I would've just bought a new pack of heads because Magnus is really a great company.
@@the.reel.mccoy. I was not impressed with the flight or durability of any of the slick tricks. Felt flimsy and flew bad in wind. Magnus black hornet serrated on the other hand was the best broadhead I've ever put on an arrow. Sturdy, flies like a field point and looks wicked as well.
Shot the grim reaper whitetail special last season and the deer went maybe 40 yards. It seemed to have worked well but was surprised my arrow didn’t have a full pass through. Now there could have been many reasons why it didn’t pass through entirely but the shot was within 15 yards, broadside, well placed and my setup is; Hoyt Turbohawk, 70lb, carbon express pile drivers 250 spine, 26.5DL and 27 arrow length. So i expected a good amount of kinetic energy to barrel through the animal. I’ll be using the Trocars this season. I’ve had them as my backup for the last few years but stayed with a mechanical bc im not super confident my bow is properly tuned. I definitely do not shoot as much as I should, too, but I am confident up to 30yards - nothing past for hunting. Cheers.
Swhackers are pretty good also. I’ve shot 3 deer so far with the 3” crossbow model this season and the hole is as big as my foot!! But I love the Grim Reapers. I’ve shot 6 deer this season with 5 different heads. 2 expandables and 2 fixed. The Slick Trick Crossbow 4 blade gave the best blood trails and put the deer down within 40 yards. I also shot 3 pigs in Hawaii with them and they bled like “stuck pigs”. Heart shot a doe with the Magnus 150gr. Buzzcut and she didn’t bleed at all but only went 40yards and I saw her fall. In my experience with shooting over 300 deer, they will die within 100yards if hit well (heart or double lung) with any broadhead you sling at them. What I also have learned is that they will bleed better if hit with a 2” or bigger expandable and are easier to find if hit in the heart/lung region. I hate to say this because I love fixed blades. Maybe I’ll try a 3” fixed blade lol. Hope this helps. Good luck y’all!!!
Been shooting Grim Reaper for about years now. Excellent head. Great blood trails and never once failed to open. Using the pro series 1-3/8 3 blades this year.
There was an in depth 30 year study conducted at the Indianhead military installation near the Potomac. It compared results between fixed and mechanical broadheads. According to the results, mechanical broadheads displayed an advantage over fixed broadheads in the recovery of deer. The article covering the study was published by the quality deer management Association.
I had issues with the Hyperdermics with the collars out of a HTR but normally use lose 30% penetration with wide blades that open on impact but with bow speeds I was getting 2" right impacts with G5 Montecs with my Vertix and my sons Triax but the Wasp Drones being a short compact design fly in the same holes with the fieldtips and blow thru deer in stick in the ground pretty deep and they spin true and align nice with vanes with the Orings with Easton adapter rings where Montecs you cant with 5mm FMJs and Axis
Your missing the Thunderheads. I shoot 125 grains and have never lost an animal and most go down withing sight. My daughter shoots Thunderhead 100's and has had the same results. They are the deadliest broadhead I have used in my 40 pluse years of bowhunting.
There’s no sight changing in a properly tuned setup so that’s not an advantage. Wider cut equals reduced penetration and poor structural integrity, therefore not an advantage either.
I tried Grim Reapers this year. Hard quartering away shot on a 15 yard doe only opened one of the 4 blades. She ran a little over 150 yards and the only reason I found her was because I injured the front shoulder and she left a weird mark in the dirt where that leg kept hitting the ground. No "good" blood at all, and only a few pin drops within 40 yards. Local bow shop didn't believe me until I showed them the entrance/exit holes. Looked like a bad papertuning tear
Great information! I’ve been testing the Trocars for my elk hunt this coming September. They do fly great. Since I do have time I’m gonna try out those QAD Exodus🏹
I run Rage Trypan and I can confirm that they slap2.5-3 inch and carry a 2" wound cavity. My average distance of travel for a heart shot is about 20 feet depending on animal. They are excellent and fly just like a field point. Only thing to watch out for is the collars are sensitive so carry a few extras.
Yeah, that's my only issue with the Trypans. I never comfortable if I'm stalking en route to my stand. Brush up against a small branch and they pop out of position. Other than that they fly as well if not better than a field point.
Inside Out Precision series is on fire! Really enjoyed this video!! QAD Exodus, they are super sharp and won blade of the year a couple of years ago. BUT, they sometimes will take on an erratic flight and that must be due to some aero dyanmic issue with winds and what not. I swear if a NY Yankee's pitcher could simulate what they do he'd be a sure HOFer. Regarding the Grim Reapers, they are devasting, I hope they improved their manufacturing--they might have been acquired a few years back and their quality dipped a bit. The Trypans are super impressive with the titanium but just don't stalk hunt with them. The blades pop out easier if touched.
Mechanicals work fine till they dont penetrate or open. Which is more often than I like. I can't remember ever not getting pass throughs with any fixed blade. But I have had two deer where slick trick barely bade it to the heart. When you see your deer running away and you realize it has 90 percent of your arrow sticking out of the wrong side you get sick. You think why didn't i get penetration. You think you have lost that deer. Don't go through that just shoot a fixed blade that's sharp. Learn to sharpen as well.
Six local seasons ago I had a tuning related malfunction and hit a buck in the hind quarter for the first time. My heart sunk thinking it was going to be a long track and worst of all in the end the meat could be ruined. He ran about 150 feet, laid down and died. Still can't believe my blind good luck; dodged a gutshot by inches severing the femoral artery.
I always have both fixed blade and expandable broadheads in my hunting quivers. i use both types for different reasons but my go to fixed blade has been the slick tricks, they are durable, sharp and accurate. i settled on hypodermics for expandable heads since they are super accurate at longer distances and they leave one heck of a wound channel. the grim reapers are a really good design but were not quite as accurate with my bow/arrow setup.
Didn't realize you guys were in Oregon! You're not too far away either. Sweet. Maybe I'll come by to check out my first bow in the next few months. Thanks for the videos. Very helpful.
Rage 3..... CRAP!!!! Lost 2 doe on opening day last year and another one the next day. Found all of the arrows and broadheads did not open on any of them. Went to Walmart and bought some $6 Allen fixed blades and killed the next 4 doe and 2 bucks I shot. Total horse crap on the Rage. Shooting Reapers this year, hoping for a better mechanical blade with it
Oh, the single blades with or without a bledder blade can be resharpened to a hair popping mirror edge. Actually, they can leave a very good blood trail on both sides. It just depends on where you hit them & the sharpness of the blade. They can also be considered a Plan B broadhead. The one when plan A fails. I thank you for steering youth & lower poundage shooters towards a fixed blade. A sharp CoC will take much less lbs of force to penetrate. We all strive for a clean kill. For 60+# bow, it's your choice. FYI- Magnus Black Hornets & The serrated version (Black Hornet Ser Razor) can be a hot seller with a 059 dia. thick 11/4 cutting edge with .040 thick 7/8" bleeders (Flaying Battle Axe). Disclaimer: I'm not affiliated with Magnus.
Annunciate you name at the beginning of your videos. I’ve watched a few dozen of them, and every time it sounds like “what’s up guys cowamblat with inside out precision.”
I've read too many post on Archery Talk about Grim Reapers not opening. I really wanted to like them, but not gonna risk missing a monster in the woods. I decided to go with Sik SK2 or Sik F4. Still love QAD Exodus though.
I just spent $1,100 on a new bow today, $200 on arrows last year. Then there is all the other gear. The entire point of all that stuff is to put a broad head through the lungs of an elk. It would be quite strange to cheap out on them or buy something that might not function.
Rage is nice, but I just don't trust them. I have heard more stories about them not opening up( granted they are probably the most used expandable in my area so you will hear more feedback from them). I use grim reapers mainly for how the blades are retained, due to not having the collar/o-ring. Also with my set up, I can play around with the different types of expandable grim reapers without having to adjust my sight. The whitetail special and whitetail extreme for turkey. The carrifour and the 1 3/8 three-blade for whitetail and the mini-mag for elk if I ever get the chance. When I first got into bow hunting, I wanted a fixed blade. The guy at my local pro shop said to give the grim reaper a try and I am still a believer since seeing my first deer shot and just drop to the ground. They are generally priced good enough to where if they break im not heartbroken about it. Probably going to hear the rage fans comment on how rage is the best. They are good and I have seen what they can do from buddies shooting them. Me personally I just can't feel confident due to the collar. Thats just me. Good video
I've been shooting rage for a long time, never had an issue... lots of people claim to and I think thats due to them not using the collars correctly. I do Want to try some White Tail specials though.
Well done, really enjoy your channel. I shoot the Exodus Swept blade, they fly great. Wondered what the difference in arrow flight and penatration might be from the other Exodus blade. Born and raised outdoors just did an extended test of broad heads and accuracy on a lot heads.
CAUTION your customers on the 2" Grim Reaper Whitetail special..I switched to them years ago..I missed three bucks in the same year..the blades were opening up in flight..Smaller diameter Reapers do not have that problem
I shoot Grim Reapers, and I like redundancy. I buy orthodontic bands (fresh bag every year from Amazon) and put one on each head, even though you technically don't need to. It has nothing but a positive effect. The amount of force needed to break the band once in the animal is very small. A lot of people put bands on the Grim Reapers as back up.
Been using Rage hyperdermic for the past three years now .tried few different ones past year and always go back to Rage . If miss and hit the dirt just clean the blades out and can use again can't say that about other mechanicals. Seen new one without collers going to try them next if can find them
Here overseas in Europe, one can only use fixed blades with at least 1" ´cutting diameter. That doesn´t leave too much of a choice here. Most succwful hunters here would recommend grizzlystik heads round 150 grain. I would be interested what you would think of the German Kinetics Silverflame heads.
I’ve broke a rage on a whitetail does shoulder and had two bucks broadside and shot behind the shoulder and went to the guts. And shot the grim ripper at a 75 lb hog broadside and got no penetration and never found the pig or arrow so I don’t know how much penetration I actually got. But I have killed multiple deer with rages. I just don’t trust them to always work and have to wait on the perfect shot and still not have a full pass through. And blood trails have more to do what you cut than the size of cut.
It's human nature for people to be defensive about their own personal choices. If something works for someone, they declare it the best. I've shot Thunderhead 125s since they came out back in the '80s. I don't know if they're the best, but they've never let me down. Mechanicals came out as a gimmick for guys who didn't know how to tune their bows. Paper tuning, proper FOC, correct spine....all important for getting fixed blade heads to fly right. But....you guys go ahead and keep paying outrageous prices for those mechanicals. If you're happy with them, more power to you.
Good video, good info, thanks. One thing I's be interested to see is given a bow tuned for points at a given all up weight, how far off the point group do particular broad heads group on matching shaft and weight, before retuning the bow to bring the groups together. I suspect this would be a reasonable guide to the flight characteristics of any given broad head.
I’m new to your videos and have been binge watching them! Great information. I’m wondering if you’ve had any feed back on Annihilators? I picked up a 3 pack and they fly phenomenal but I’m a little hung up on the diameter. They say they have a cutting surface of a 1 1/4” 3 blade because of their design but only have an actual diameter of .91”? Would love to hear your thoughts. Keep the videos coming👍🏻
It's all just preference, same as bow brand. All bows and all broadheads are more than capable of killing clean and efficiently. Failure is almost always on the user.
Spend the money on Solid brand broadheads. Will last forever and are amazing. Expensive but really good and sharp. Those other fixed blades he mentioned are nice too. Solid’s customer service is awesome too.
@@kccuffsman ok cool. Well didn't they start making them in China or something these last few years or something and I heard the quality whent down hill
Now that you've had the grim reapers for awhile in shop, any reviews/feedback on the Grim Reaper Micro Hades Pro series fixed blades? Looking at those vs. Stinger 4 blade vs. exodus. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Love the channel man, keep up the videos cominggggggggggggg.
Have you anymore performance reports on Deadmeat broadheads? One animal hit is not enough to say are not effective. Please let me know if anyone has killed with them. Thank you
Ive used swhacker broadheads for years now and have had no problems. Used several different broadheads before them from fixed to mechanical and always found a down fall with it brand but not with swhackers. I currently shoot the 2in. But started out with the 1.75in. Both done really great lots of blood. Have had several deer go no more then 25 to 30 yards. And have had a few go less then that. I made a bad shoot on one about two years ago it was really far back and high but still recovered the deer around a 100 yards or a little more but had no problem following the blood. Try them out. I don't know if I'll ever use any thing else
From a fellow Oregon hunter. I'm unsure if the Rage expendables broads heads are legal. Because Oregon has a no barbed rule and when they expand they create a barb were they cannot pull out from the entrance wound. Where the Grim reapers would fold back in if pulled out from the entrance wound.
Used to love the g5 monte but I had a couple that got stuck in a branch and the broadheads actually snapped trying to get it out. I switched to magnus and had one go an inch deep into a tree and came out not even bent
Have you shot Thorn Broadheads? Interested in hearing your thoughts on these heads. I have tested a bunch of heads and they appear to be tough as nails and fly second to none. I have not shot an animal with them yet but plan on using them for whitetail in Ohio this upcoming season.
For those shooting with 40lbs and 24 inch draw is it the Magnus stinger buzz cut you recommended? What should the overall arrow weight be for this lower end power and draw length? Great videos by the way just need to give the camera a little more time to focus on products, or if you are showing something small put your hand behind it to help the camera focus.
Yeah if its low draw weight, short draw length set up, you want a cut-on-contact broadhead. It'll give you much better penetration. Thanks for the filming tip!
Not a mechanical fan for Elk, BUT I'd recommend. you try/test the G5 Dead Meat. Done a lot of shooting and testing with them - I find they have better penetration and less expansion failures (as in, zero) than others. Check them out and let me/us know your thoughts....
YES!! I just ordered a few of the Sevr Ti 2.1 125 grain after seeing a few videos and doing my own research. I shot fixed blade for years, and finally made the switch. These things are tough as nails!!! I couldn't be happier. Haven't got any blood on them yet, but I love the fact that they come with a set screw so the blades won't deploy for true flight practice. Also, I love how they are sold individually. I can 1 or 2 or 8 or 9.
Just curious why I never see innerloc broadheads on any of the tests? I shoot the carbon tuners and they preform very well in my opinion and my fiancée shoots the slice by innerloc as well and both these heads are tuneable to your fletchings. Just curious why these heads or this company ever make or included in any videos on UA-cam? As far as I know they are an American made broadhead, but yet don’t even see them in performance videos......
I keep wanting to try something new for variety, but just can't leave the Grim Reaper 3 blade 1 3/8" razortip. I can't say enough good things about that head.
What would you use to hunt African plains game ( kudu, zebra, water buck, gemsbok, wildebeest, etc ). I shoot a V3 28.5 draw, 67 lb draw weight. Currently I shoot an Easton axis carbon 5 mm, 340 spine, with 100g field tips. Need to figure out the best broadhead / arrow configuration.
Calm down guys! Native Americans shoot elk, Buffalo, whitetails etc. For thousands of years with a low poundage recurve bow and stone broadheads, Im pretty sure you will be fine with any high quality broadhead.
I’ve been using fixed broadheads for 39 years, and I’m thinking on switching to a machanical broadhead this year, I want something that flies exactly like my 100gr field point, I saw at the 2019 show Innerloc Carnage it has a rap that goes around the blades, nothing sticking out that can drift the head, once the point hits it expands the blades from the bottom... I thought the fancy raps were a little corny, but the concept of these broadheads seem really good to me ..!!! What do you guys think .. ???
David jefferson hey David, I have been shooting GrimReapers for years great results deer rarely go 40 yards. same setup as you last year and shot thru large white tails with 400 grain total arrow setup (100 grain heads) easily. Thru the ribs and out the opposite chest, deer went 20 yards. Just my 2 cents.
No way g5 cs all the way tuff as hell easy to sharpen killed seven bucks 7 years in a row with them only one I use never had one break I have had Magnus Buzz Cuts break several times
I've been shooting magnus buzzcuts for a long time and never had one break from an animal. But, I will say that for my compound, I switched to the Black Hornets and will likely never use anything else. The ser razor 4 blade black hornet is unbelievably good.
Yeah cuz you aren't supposed to practice with them! They fly with your field points. Almost any mechanical blade will break if you shoot hard foam with them. There meant to cut through flesh and bone, not high density foam. We have seen amazing results on the animals shot with Grim Reapers
They come with practice heads. Also, I have a few reapers I've put through deer and I cleaned and kept them for practice. To not break them, I glued the blades shut and then tied serving around them closed on top of that. I probably should have used 2 part epoxy, but gel super glue works also. Use those and never shoot your "good" reapers unless at a deer.
Probably would want to stick with a good fixed blade. Penetration with exapandales probably wouldn't be great, but you really could go with either at 60lbs.
I’m going to check out those QAD exodus heads for a stainless steel plate hunt I have coming up
Lol

Funny this channel and Ranch Fairy are polar opposites on almost everything from arrow weight to broadheads.
Right. Because they have to sell everything in their shop.

HIGHLY suggest you checkout Tooth of the Arrow broadheads
I’m trying the exodus this year so far they’re flying great! I hunt white tails in Ohio just want a fool proof head that’ll punch through anything
Grim reaper took blood trails to a new level. 90% of deer hit, I hear or see fall within 50 yards.
Isn’t 50 yards still kinda far?
@@krisswolf2011 not really at all.
Didn't realize you guys were in Oregon! You're not too far away either. Sweet. Maybe I'll come by to check out my first bow in the next few months. Thanks for the videos. Very helpful.
Awesome! We'll be here
Rage 3.....
Haha..."Kellen back with Inside Out Precision "
Easy to see y'all haven't shot rage for too long
Meaning
I'm 13 and I'm pulling 50 lbs with a 25 Inch draw and this is my first season shooting toxic broadheads and am exited to see what they do!!
I've read too many post on Archery Talk about Grim Reapers not opening. I really wanted to like them, but not gonna risk missing a monster in the woods. I decided to go with Sik SK2 or Sik F4. Still love QAD Exodus though.
I’ve harvested 30+ animals with grim reapers. Elk, mule deer, pronghorn, and coyotes. I’ve never had a issue. But I do shoot a very fast bow.
No single bevels?
Exodus are my favorite fixed blades, the grim reapers work very well also.
Always had good luck with slick tricks. I’m going to give the grim reaper and exodus heads a shot next season to see how they do.
Micro hades 3 blade.. pretty good.
Exodus are my pick of those ones.
Blew off all 3 blades in a big buck with the grim reaper whitetail special out of my crossbow.
Haven't ever used Annihilators, so I can't really give an opinion. Thanks for the kinds words though, glad you're finding the videos helpful!
Rocket 🚀 steelheads are an awesome dependable head. Highly recommend
Are the steelheads good?
Ricky Rice I’ve used them for years and shot lots of deer with them. Always true and tough heads.
@@kccuffsman ok cool. Well didn't they start making them in China or something these last few years or something and I heard the quality whent down hill
I shoot reaper they are crazy when through both shoulder and the entrance wound was massive. Deer only made it like 10 yards
They're legal. 100%
Rage are great broadheads. Got many animals with them.
Daum I am so glad I’ve subscribed to you guys
Used to love the g5 monte but I had a couple that got stuck in a branch and the broadheads actually snapped trying to get it out. I switched to magnus and had one go an inch deep into a tree and came out not even bent
Broadheads aren't designed for tree-hunting.
Tree down 🤣🤣
Have you shot Thorn Broadheads? Interested in hearing your thoughts on these heads. I have tested a bunch of heads and they appear to be tough as nails and fly second to none. I have not shot an animal with them yet but plan on using them for whitetail in Ohio this upcoming season.
I haven't got my hands on any, but they look like great heads!
Exodus for fixed, Grim Reapers 1 3/8" mechanical
Would you please do a review of the ozcut Broadheads
If I can get my hands on some. We dont carry them though
I broadhead-tuned my bow to shoot QAD and Magnus. They are accurate as heck and tough so I see no reason to shoot mechanicals.
Yeah we love Grim Reapers. Best mechanical head on the market in my opinion
I shoot rage ss for low poundage bow, I like them.
Have you seen those ironwill broadhead a curious about those
Yeah we carry them. They are a phenomenal head, but crazy expensive. $225 for 6 of them!
Are in Bow Rack in Springfield Oregon
Yes sir
Calm down guys! Native Americans shoot elk, Buffalo, whitetails etc. For thousands of years with a low poundage recurve bow and stone broadheads, Im pretty sure you will be fine with any high quality broadhead.
No viper trick review
Good video. I am wondering why no single bevels? Any thoughts on Iron Will single bevels or Grizzlystix?
The Grim Reaper leaves blood like you have NEVER seen before in your life. In the words of Rut Daniels, "Didn't go 20!" is the absolute truth!!
can we get an update on this topic?
I’ve been using fixed broadheads for 39 years, and I’m thinking on switching to a machanical broadhead this year, I want something that flies exactly like my 100gr field point, I saw at the 2019 show Innerloc Carnage it has a rap that goes around the blades, nothing sticking out that can drift the head, once the point hits it expands the blades from the bottom... I thought the fancy raps were a little corny, but the concept of these broadheads seem really good to me ..!!! What do you guys think .. ???
Stay with the fixed! Machanical won’t pass though a deer like fixed blades will , I just switched back to fixed
Yes, I never switched. I’m staying fixed..!!
Magnus hornet, fantastic company
Tooth of the arrow broadheads! Machined from a solid piece of steel!
My favorite broadhead!
Did you get a chance to shoot anything with the QAD Exodus? I might give them a try next year
If I want to buy Muzzy trocar, could you ship it to London England?
Kind regards Robert
What's the best recommended broadhead for me I am a 29 1/2 inch draw at 65 lb draw weight
Yeah at those specs you can run expandables or fixed blade. Any of the heads I mentioned would be great
Would the qad exodus be a good set up with a 62 pound pull and a 29 inch draw. Prime centergy.
Yes they would be a great choice!
Exodus are great
Yes that is my setup never had a problem with them
Ramcats all the way.
Nap. Hellrazor fixed blade. Made out of steel. 1 an 1/8 cut. I shoot out of my bow. And I get pass throw. All the time.
El cheapo Broadheads from Amazon for the win...
Lol nope
@@InsideOutPrecision yep. All these gimmick Broadheads are over the top...Christ. Goddamn Indians used pieces of rocks for Broadheads.
No Thorn??
Slick trick
What is your opinion on the Sick Trick 100 standard broadhead vs QAD Exodus trying to decide which one to go with? They both get pretty solid reviews.
Haven't shot the slick trick so I really couldn't tell you!
Why did you shoot a cow instead of just walking to it?
Anyone with any experience with the Grim Reaper Razor Cuts performance on elk?
Shot reapers... the blades will pop off if you practice with them
Yeah cuz you aren't supposed to practice with them! They fly with your field points. Almost any mechanical blade will break if you shoot hard foam with them. There meant to cut through flesh and bone, not high density foam. We have seen amazing results on the animals shot with Grim Reapers
Inside Out Precision not saying they don’t kill . Just saying it’s important to know not to shoot them when practicing.
@@thestalkarcheryarrows Cant argue with that! Happy New Year
Inside Out Precision you also
They come with practice heads.
Tricks!!
What if I shoot 60 pounds at a 25 inch draw.
Probably would want to stick with a good fixed blade. Penetration with exapandales probably wouldn't be great, but you really could go with either at 60lbs.
