Well damn, I feel cheated I just came across this video a year later. Reminds me a lot of home(FL) and how quick it’s disappearing. It’s all worth fighting for and has brought so many good memories I’ve carried with me all through life. Thanks for sharing this with us!
Disappearing so fast. I hate it. Our kids won’t have the same life as we did. It was so awesome back in the late 80’s early 90’s and now it’s gated communities filled with chads and Karen’s everywhere.
@@craigspools1 Absolutely Correct!! Only thing hunting the marsh has going for it is that the Chad & Karens are too spoiled and soft to want to deal with the elements, at least for now.
Im from Mississippi but I went to LSU and got to fish a lot of South Louisiana. The sheer size and square miles of marsh and available access to fishing, crawfishing, crabbing and hunting is so immense.👍
Pretty cool video. It is interesting to see the different hunting styles and approaches to overcoming terrain and ecological challenges. Looks like it was a pretty successful season for ya.
Appreciate the comments. The Louisiana Marsh is definitely a different type of hunting. Can't pattern or feed deer. You have to hunt and/or create travel lanes. Never gonna kill a monster, but close to home and fun as hell.
Dam like the last comment really got to me here 2024 I’m from myakka Florida this is my life everyday I breathe for this heaven better be ready for me in the outskirts ❤❤
I love these videos that you put out. Makes me want to be in a stand right now...Unfortunately, work calls. Someone has to pay for all this fun we are having!!!!!!
Appreciate it jason. We are about done for the year. Rifle closes this week and we havent seen much lately. Think we're going to give them a break to next year
Matt, we may be related. My grandfather was a Simon that came from the Landry side in your area. Alphie Simon btw. Grandpa with a stick is what we called Pa Pa Landry. Great video and awesome music.
We hunt the marsh in area 9 good bit different not as tall some places you could see a mile pretty awesome hunting in the marsh though thanks for the video
I hunt in South Texas on small land one 25 acre and a 60 acre tract! Nothing as amazing as your swamp! Keep your video's coming! It's all about family I love sitting in the blinds with my grandsons!
Dude can I come hangout with you for a few days I want to experience this... and you can come up to my cabin in northern minnesota and show you the beautiful big woods and 10000 lakes...

Stunningly Beatiful ❤
@terrymakstaller3094 the louisiana marsh is a beautiful yet harsh environment.
Thanks for the time and effort filming and editing your marsh experiences. It don’t get no betta…👍
The tripod on the boat..... GENIUS. I would run afoul of our laws in Texas and oklahoma where I hunt, but I think it is a downright perfect strategy.
@Isaacmantx in louisiana motor has to be turned off and in stationary position. Gives you many options
Great video !!!
