    Did an AKL on a 2005 Jaguar X-Type last week and it was my first time using this Lishi and thanks to you, I was out of there in 45 minutes. Took longer to cut one key than it took to pick and decode!! Thank you!!!

      Cutting these keys is definitely a slow process. Glad the video helped!

    I see the levers are silver one side & black the other. Does it matter which way round you then put the tool on the lock

    • @BoredLockpicker
      @BoredLockpicker  Місяць тому

      Yea. You have to be able
      To turn them towards unlock since turning them toward lock will just lock the lock with out picking it

    I have two questions if you could answer them it will be great
    1 is there anyway cutts missing in the door locks or you can get all the cutts out of the door.
    2 I see a lot of people trying to pick the ignition lock and they said that the tool gets stuck in the ignition what is the reason that you’re trying to pick the ignition why not just pick the door is there any difference thanks a lot

    • @BoredLockpicker
      @BoredLockpicker  2 роки тому

      all the disc are in the door. Not sure why people go after the ignition except maybe if they cant get a good reading from the door locks.. the tool just gets hung up on the dust cover. a broken pick easily frees it. no idea how so many "locksmiths" have that issue and cant figure it out

    I am currently working on a 2006 Jaguar S-Type. Having trouble with it and need some help. I noticed that you read the cuts from left to right. Is that how you entered them on the cutting machine? I've always read from bow to tip. I cut the key reading from left to right and cut it from bow to tip and it didn't work. Are Jaguar Tibbe Keys the same as Ford Tibbe Keys?

    • @BoredLockpicker
      @BoredLockpicker  2 роки тому +1

      Jaguar keys are same as ford. Bow to tip is how they are entered into the machine. On your pick though the knob on the end operates and reads the 6th position the one closet to the lock is position one. Watch this video and 38 seconds I explain it. ua-cam.com/video/_C_V9ba6G_k/v-deo.html

    Can you show the picking head in more detail? Does it have 6 different moving elements? And what does that retaining pin do that you pulled out early on.

    • @BoredLockpicker
      @BoredLockpicker  3 роки тому

      I'm going to get another jaguar lock and do another video. I'll show the tool more. it does have six moving parts to rotate the disc and that pin just keeps them lined up for when you insert it. i dont think you really need it though.

    Trying this new pick on my grandmas 99 jag. For some reason with the pick inserted all the way none of the disc will turn to the left I’m only able to get it to turn to the right/lock not sure what’s going on. It has been sitting for 8 years maybe seized up??

      @@BoredLockpicker thank you sooo much for your prompt reply. Is there a list of vehicles this will do. I got the tibbe key cutting clamp a year ago and have only used it once lol. And that was for key duplication. So I bought that pick two months ago and it just came in (love the prices from China but that wait is something else)

    • @BoredLockpicker
      @BoredLockpicker  Рік тому

      Any 6 vehicle that uses six cut tibbe. There is an 8 cut tibbe pick but most of the key machines can’t cut 8 cut tibbe keys
