hello and thank you very much for sharing I just have one question I got my tool stuck inside can you show me a technique to get it out please that would help me a lot thank you very much
I cover this in the video at 3.10, this is the method I'm aware of that can help, I would say though that you should not insert one of these picks into an ignition lock while it is on the vehicle as I believe this is problematic for removing the pick and I have not done this as you should not attempt to pick a lock in use.
its a little baffling, the opinion by those that have used these on original equipment is that its harder than this, that said, these OEM locks seem to work fine so only thought I'm left with is that the disks are not well finished and perhaps that gates are very rounded, enough to keep the lock locked but offer no resistance when being manipulated, I need to get an original lock from an old Ford
😂😂😂 That's a magic 🎩 ✨️ tool 🔧 😅 Great 👍 👌 👍 👌 👍 I am sure that the real reason for such a quick opening of the locks from the Ford ignition switch is not the weak characteristics of the lock and not the super capabilities of the Chinese decoder, but the amazing capabilities of my friend Paul!!!! I am absolutely and categorically sure of this.))) Have a good mood and a successful day to you today, Paul!!! Cool video 📹 Thank you for your sharing 😊 I wanted to see this tool in the work , you give it, Mate 😊
I've watched a few videos over the past 4 or 5 years on these locks and picks but......I must say either they made it look harder than than or you are an absolute genius😂. That was crazy fast!!!!!
Can you please make a video about the decoding process? I turned the decoder as fast as you showed but I don’t know how can I read the 6 numbers to cut the key. Thank you!
@@paulg413 yes I did. I watched many videos about the decoding process but I’m still don’t understand. There are a lot of numbers and I don’t know where and how to get the right 6 numbers. It looked easy to decoding but not easy
@@JuhaszMagic on the side of you pick the will be numbers on each one of the wheels, at least 1 of these wheels will rotate to the maximum distance, this is the 4 cut and is the tensioning wheel, makke a not of where the number 4 is on that wheel, now pick the rest of the wheels, read up and down from that original number 4, you will have 6 numbers in total 1 for each wheel, you want the number on each wheel that lines up with the original 4, this video explains it well ua-cam.com/video/_C_V9ba6G_k/v-deo.html
@@paulg413 thank you for your help! I have 2 questions, if there is no 4 number in the lock then what is the solution? The second question is if the marker on the tool stays between 2 numbers for example between 2 and 3, the marker is completely in the middle I don’t know is it 2 or 3 numbers, what can I do ? Thanks for your help!
The quality of these tools varies greatly and there are a lot of different manufacturers, the chances are that yours is different to mine, first of all though, one of these wheels WILL be at the 4 cut but if your wheel doesn't show that then there's not much that can be done with that tool (do check both sides of the tool as each side is numbered and indicates if the wheel is showing clockwise or counterclockwise) for question 2, sometimes the numbers don't line up perfectly (mine don't either) but will a little thought and comparing to the adjacent wheels it should be possible to work out what the right number is
The door locks are meant to lock with any Tibbe key, even a blank. Maybe you are turning it to locking direction ? Try turning it with the pin in place, if it still turns, you need to turn the other way. The ignition lock is that easy to pick. But the tool will get jammed. Don't ever insert it in a mounted ignition lock. FYI, the sidebar mechanism only allows it to turn 1 way. In the locking direction, there is a big cutout for the sidebar.
@WolfJustWolf it doesn't turn with the pin in place so I think I'm going in The right direction the first lock In the vid won't turn in Either direction with the 3 different keys I have so I guess that means it's already In the locked position, it opens with the decoder very quickly
@@paulg413 The key can only go in or out in one position. You can't actually lock them, they always go back to the centre position. You can only turn it to lock or unlock, wich interacts with rods attached to the cam.
Only time I've seen one used was at a Bristol UKLS meet.... and it didn't work in either LockNoob's practice lock or a member's car in the car park 😂 Think it may have been the pick!
@Drgreensp you may be on to something there, they are both OEM locks, originals are a little hard to come by, I'd be interested to understand what the difference is, if you're right then its probably down to the finish of the actual discs
I had heard that these picks are quick and easy to use, but was ridiculously fast to open. Thanks for showing us.
@sotonlock7894 think I'm going to need an original ford lock before I can call this done

Utter madness 🕺😆😃👍
Nicely demonstrated
All the very best to you and yours 👍 🍻
Cheers Tinnie 👍
That is fascinating 😅 a very cool decoder. I'm in disbelief that it could be that easy, it seems a swipe of the hand opened both locks 😅 cheers Paul 🎉

Haven't seen one of these style picks since crappy lockpicker did a vid on one. Thanks for sharing, love your videos 👌👍🤜🤛
Thanks you Nick, I'm a fan of your vids as well, got a good lever pick coming up soon
@@paulg413 nice, can't wait for that I have to say, levers are my candy at the moment 😊🤜🤛

Oh my, self picking locks. 😢 I can see why they didn't last long.
I think your manual pick was probably more fun, apparently they similar to a Chubb AVA although AVA's are tougher I'm told
That is so interesting….
Do you even pick bro? 😂😂

Somebody presented the pick on Yt and told it, can’t remember who. I bought it on the flee market to try to convert it to the DD pick somehow.
Ummm,...yeah it is that easy. My my. Just totally sucked all the fun out of picking. 😂😂😂😂
Yeah, I was quite underwhelmed when they opened right up, felt a bit cheated 🤣🤣. I think Lockchuck had the right idea to pick them manually

I’m in utter disbelief. You need to find a scrap yard and just try it out on some vehicles to see if it is universal
i really do 😃
