Hot rolled industrial extension.

Mixed freight services Ltd are a company based at Heathrow International Airport and have been looking at ways to create more storage on their existing site for a considerable length of time. They approached us to design a building for them that connected to the existing building to create extra height. We designed a hot rolled steel building which was designed to constrado and connected on three sides. Due to the fire Boundry conditions KS1000RW cladding was used on the side elevation to adhere and a 20° pitch on the roof was incorporated to create more internal space for storage. A retractable bespoke door on the front gable was included in the design giving the client exactly what they asked us to create. This was a very challenging project but the results speak for itself.
